Frontier Co-op Organic Ground Cayenne Pepper 6.14oz

I've been using cayenne pepper in place of black pepper for years now. I read somewhere it was better for your health. I do still use black pepper, so I haven't substituted completely. Buying in bulk is so much cheaper than from the store in bottles, plus I have had difficulty finding it in some groceries. This cayenne is much hotter than prior cayenne I have purchased. I don't need to use nearly as much, in fact for me, I have to be careful, like when I sprinkle it on a soft boiled egg, so I don't overdo it. I think the quality is very good.

This is straight up cayenne pepper and I can't think of starting my morning without it! I once visited a coffee shop in a neighboring city and they advertised a Mayan Mocha, I really liked Mexican Mocha's so I gave it a go. Instantly fell in love and have been adding it to my morning coffee (about an eighth of a teaspoon) ever since. It gives you that slight burn in the back of your throat and enhances the flavor of your coffee. My family doesn't like spice all that much so this fulfills my needs until lunch time. My only gripe is the closing mechanism (the ziploc closer), it doesn't last very long but that is likely my fault since I open it at least 2 times every morning. This bag lasts me a long time well worth the money. I'm not sure about the health benefits but I sure appreciate the kick it gives my coffee!

Only recently started adding cayenne pepper for flavor—and health. Had been buying a small (1.7oz?) organic bottle from the local WallyWorld. This has much more flavor, and is a much better value. Noticed this is a good bit darker, no idea what that means. Smells great, and seems fresh, but that's from a Cayenne Newbie. If all of the purported health benefits of cayenne pepper are real (I believe they are!), I should be getting healthier in many ways 'cause I'm putting this stuff in/on more and more things, including my coffee!

I had been buying what organic cayenne I could get in the supermarkets, as I use it as a daily supplement. This is !,000x better! The freshness and kick it has is super! Highly suggest!

So, I stumbled upon this cayenne pepper online, and let me tell you, it's a bit of an oddball compared to what I'm used to finding in New York's healthy stores. The color of the pepper flakes is more on the brownish side than the usual fiery red, which caught my attention right away. As for the heat, it's not too intense – I'd say it's more of a moderate level, which could be a plus for those who prefer a milder kick. But here's the thing: in a world where trust is in short supply, I can't help but wonder if this pepper is the real deal. Call me skeptical, but with all the mumbo-jumbo out there, a little transparency wouldn't hurt. Why not mention the origin and how it's harvested? As a consumer, it's something I'd like to know. Overall, it's pepper, alright. Nothing mind-blowing, but it gets the job done. Just wish there was a bit more info to chew on.

Nice clean packaging, product appears very good. It’s not as spicy as some cayenne which is better for me. Im taking as a medicinal supplement and don’t really use it on food so this is perfect.

Great to use in the original container once it ran out as a refill! We shake the cayenne pepper on our cereal, in our coffee, on many different food items. Really wonderful. We like the quality, especially.

My husband and I started taking a teaspoon of cayenne twice a day in hot water, it's supposed to be good for your heart and circulation. We went through our 1st bag more quickly than I expected so I decided to try another brand that sells larger, 1lb bags. They don't advertise as "organic" but, it did say "all natural, no fillers" so we tried it. Ugh. Waste of time and money, it tasted like fluffy dirt and I got heartburn immediately. Instant regret. Had to try it for 2 days to make sure. It's an absolute "No" for us. There is no comparison in taste, texture or quality. You can see the difference in in the photo- color and texture. We have put this on subscription now! The heat level is spicy but not too hot. It feels like I have had an energy drink after drinking it in the morning but without the energy crash.
