I've had a variety of freshwater fish: Live bearers, loaches, South American cichlids, tetras, barbs, danios, shark minnows, catfish of all shapes and sizes (glass, too!), rainbows, goldfish, you name it. They all love this food. It's a high protein, right-sized, granular food that partly sinks and partly floats. It fits nicely in an auto feeder, and I mix it with a veggie pellet (Omega One) of the same size every time I go on vacation. Do NOT feed this to African cichlids, especially Mbunas. They need more veggie matter in their diet. Keeping Mbunas was how i discovered veggie pellets, and Ω1 is the best of all the ones i tried.
