It keeps my tortillas warm while we’re eating. It has a slight smell, like burnt wood, but it’s not a strong smell. I actually like the smell, it gives me a greater sense of it actually being hand crafted. I’ve used many hand crafted tortilla warmers (woven basket, ceramic container, etc.), but this is my favorite. It is easy to clean and I’m not afraid it will break if it falls. I like how easy it is to take the cloth off to wash. I love using it.
