It’s not going to last forever but it will get you through a month or so of heavy use (Constantly having to show your badge). It’s light weight. The clip is decently constructed but you may struggle with thicker materials. The little plastic/rubber pieces that hold the ID card became cloudy and dirty looking after about two months of work exposure. That’s not bad for a little bit of plastic, however. Plus this product comes with multiples so you can leave one clipped to your vest and another clipped to your work belt or belt loop. Just be careful with the retraction feature because that is a metal spring and it isn’t designed to last eternally. It won’t stand up to abuse from the user. If you’re hanging keys off it, don’t.
