Steamer needs an adapter plug. Steams food well. Easier to make some steam foods than a manual steamer.

Only downside is European plug but it was saying in the ad.

This steamer is exellent. Because made of stainless steel pans no plastic! Little more expensive but So worth the extra you buy cheap pay dear! As for cooking again exellent food full of flavor cooked to perfection.

2nd one inner l I've purchased in about 6 years. This steamer requires good cleaning after use to prevent residue build, staining and debris in the crevices. However it streams well and easy to store. It's quite expensive, but if you care for it, it will last a number of years

I wouldn't recommend this steamer. Firstly, the plug is not prepared for UK houses. Secondly, the rice container is a joke in terms of size, extremely small and not useful at all. Third, a very important design fault is the compartment to add water, there is no way to not spill the water every time you add, which is every time you use the steamer. So I'm just using it because I don't want to buy another one but I don't like the product at all. All the facts I described are annoying.

Wir nutzen diesen Tefal Dampfgarer nun seit fast einem Jahr mindestens einmal täglich (oft sogar öfter), und ich bin von der Langlebigkeit absolut beeindruckt. Er ist aus unserer Küche nicht mehr wegzudenken. Meine Highlights: ● Extreme Widerstandsfähigkeit: Wir hatten ein kleines Missgeschick in der Küche, bei dem das Gerät von unten versehentlich direkten Kontakt mit einer heißen Fläche hatte. Obwohl das Kunststoffgehäuse unten angeschmolzen ist, funktioniert das Gerät weiterhin einwandfrei! Das spricht für die hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität und Sicherheit der internen Technik. ● Zustand nach Langzeitnutzung: Trotz der täglichen intensiven Nutzung sehen die Edelstahlbehälter noch immer tadellos aus. Sie sind hygienisch, leicht zu reinigen und zeigen keinerlei Abnutzungserscheinungen. ● Geschmack & Gesundheit: Das Dampfgaren funktioniert perfekt. Das Gemüse bleibt knackig und behält seine Vitamine und Farben. Mein persönlicher Tipp: Das Gerät ist fantastisch, aber für Familien oder wenn man oft verschiedene Beilagen gleichzeitig zubereitet, würde ich direkt zur Version mit 3 Ebenen raten. Die 2 Ebenen funktionieren super, aber das zusätzliche Volumen wäre im Alltag noch praktischer. Fazit: Ein absolutes Arbeitstier für die Küche. Robust, zuverlässig und einfach zu bedienen. Ich würde das Gerät jederzeit wieder kaufen – dann allerdings direkt in der größeren Ausführung. 100 % Empfehlung!
