Easy to prepare and great great flavor

Gumbo mix
This gumbo mix was pretty good. Be careful not to over season your your protein. Your dish will be a little salty because of the seasoning in the gumbo mix. Other than that overall the price and the taste was really good. Enjoy!

A good product, especially for beginners.
I ordered the gumbo mix because I can’t find this in stores near me anymore. I’ve always enjoyed the quality of Louisiana Brand fish fry batters, and this gumbo seasoning. It is convenient for when I don’t feel like making a roux from scratch. It is a good product and has a good flavor but I always add my own seasonings. It’s definitely worth buying when you don’t know how to make a roux or are on a time crunch.

Item works for my needs
Purchased multiple times in the past for a shortcut to making my own roux. Cuts down on cooking time with everything else that goes into making gumbo. One 5oz packet may not be enough. Works out great for my needs.

A bit more in price than in the store. It is difficult to find locally, which is why I purchased it online. A great product and gumbo starter. Visit too much fir such a small amount

My Family Loved What I Made With It
First Time trying it out or any Base, I usually make mine from Scratch! Decided to give this a Go & heard you don't need any Extra Seasoning because it had it all (Video I Saw Warned You Not To). I will say Video was Correct & My Family Loved What I Made With It. My Sister came over a Week later still talking about it. Asked what I use & I sent her a Picture of it. She's never made Gumbo & Going to give it a Try with this. Good Taste & Price!
