This is a 200 degree door viewer that installs into any door for easy viewing. Push-button door chime alerts to notify you of presence at entry door. Can be installed on sheet metal panels as thin as 1/16 inch thick and on doors up to 2-1/8 inch thick. Adequate light will required to make objects on the outside of the door plainly viewable.

Review: Works perfectly and loud too - This was an exact replacement for my old school doorbell on one of my apartment rental doors in the Bronx. The inside and outside even cover the paint 100%. The install took about 40 mins which wasn’t too bad for my first time installing it. The bell is nice and loud which can be heard in the back bedroom. I went ahead and ordered another one for another apartment. For those saying that the bell isn’t loud enough either installed it incorrectly or they need a hearing aid (lol)

**Q: How is this removed from an existing door?**
A: Here are the instructions for removal. Remove cover screw on top of inside door cover and pull cover off. Unscrew viewer nut, using flat blade screwdriver as a twisting tool. Remove
outside plate once nut is free. Rotate lock cam up to release bell rod. Lift bar up and pull out of unit. Remove four (4) inside mounting screws and remove inside base.

**Q: Can you install this on a plywood shed door?**
A: Can be installed on sheet metal panels as thin as 1/16" thick and on doors up to 2-1/8" thick.

This is the exact model on the door in my apartment. I didn’t think they made them any more. Installation not as easy as some might suggest, took 3 hrs. Chimes reminiscent of a desk bell at a hotel. You might need to bend the clapper slightly to get the double ring every time.
