Cantu Therapy Cocoa Butter Hydrating Body Cream for very Dry Skin, 8.5 Oz

Effective, nongreasy, pleasant-smell, moisturizing/skin-softening creme. Glad I found it on Amazon after purchasing it at an outlet. It's not a lotion, so naturally it does not spread over wide areas easily. My go-to foot creme.

Love this lotion. So many skin nourishing elements to it. I have very dry skin and this penetrates without being greasy.

Other stores like Target and Walmart no longer carry this product. By itself, it's a decent moisturizer, but layered with other products, it's a lot better (my experience). I love the smell and that's a big reason why I continue to buy it. It's super thick, so you may need to unscrew the top and use it out of the bottle. It's definitely a staple product for me.

i first tried this body cream around when it started showing up on shelves in walmart and target, and i loved it. the smell not being too perfumey, the way it actually absorbs and doesn’t feel like it just sits on your skin. thick enough to feel like the moisturization will last especially if you’re someone with pretty dry skin. unfortunately at some point a few years ago, i noticed it not being in store anymore so i assumed it was discontinued but it was still listed on the cantu website but not for sale, only letting you know where it can be found in stores. could only find it sold third party on those websites and for way more than it normally costed 👎🏽 the cocoa butter one has been in my cart here on amazon on and off for a while. the price fluctuation is a bit annoying as opposed to just being one price in store but i decided to grab a bottle while it was closer to the price i remember. which i don’t expect it to be the same price it was but at the same time, im not interested in buying something for $10+ when it was around $5 just a few years ago. thankfully it still has the same smell i loved. it does perform similarly to what i remember but it does feel like the formula may be a bit different (but that could also be bc i’ve used better moisturizers during the time that i have not had this so it just doesn’t seem as good in comparison). i remember liking the shea butter one as well but i can’t remember which smell i liked better. i would really like to compare but if that one continues to be priced at $20+ on here when it’s literally the same thing as this one just a different version, i probably won’t ever find out bc that’s ridiculous. as long as this one is available, the formula stays the same and not at a crazy price, i will probably repurchase every once in a while. as of now, i don’t use it as my primary moisturizer but i do use it here and there bc the smell alone brings me back to nicer times. one thing the packaging could improve on is the label staying put. it scratches/rubs off easily, if a sticker is put on like amazon or target does, anything under that sticker will come off the bottle if you take the sticker off and just generally with regular use over time not only does it make the product look bad but you can’t see important things on the label if you ever need to get to it like expiration/ingredients/other important information. overall i am happy to have this body cream but the company could definitely work on some things. and i’m sure it’s not sold in store anymore for a reason but damn do i miss just popping into a store and getting it myself as opposed to not knowing what the price will be on here and waiting days for it to come.
