What is the stimp speed?

On the concrete floor in my shop right out of the box I measured the stimp speed at 12. If you sweep it in the same direction from end to end with the grain it was an 12 going against the grain it was slightly slower at 11.5. I have 2 that I put together end to end on the driveway to practice longer putts out to 30ft and then side by side to practice putts with up to a 4ft break since my driveway has a slope to to it. I am very pleased with the matts

Does this mat develop a groove over time? (a line that the ball will keep following even on mishits)

I’ve had mine a little over 2 months. Used almost every day. No groove yet. Great mat.

How thick is the mat?

Thin mat with a reasonable rubber backing. On a flat floor, mine stimps about 11.

Is this Matt suitable for outdoors use?

It’s good quality, very fast, faster than most greens. It could be used on smooth outdoor concrete but it is not made for permanent placement outside in the weather. .
