Exactly what I need it to be
This perfectly mounted and lined up with my Eotech XPS2 without any need for adjustment. I haven't had it mounted for over a year, in different conditions, so I can't yet speak to its durability, but it definitely feels solid. I have it set at 5X, and keep it there. I don't worry about adjusting my eye relief; variable magnification is a nice feature, and a great option to have, but I don't normally adjust my magnification in and out with a red dot - I'll switch to my LPVO for that. For zeroing my red dot and/or bench rest shooting, this is exactly what I need it to be.

Great value
Only red dot magnifier offering 1.5x-5x adjustable, nice quality machine work clear lens holds zero on my ar 15 556 easy to use and install fit is nice and tight after 500 rounds still holding.

Get what you pay for.
I have this five stars because it does what it says However, it isnโt super clear and at x3-x5 youโve got to get pretty close to see through it. As such I wouldnโt use it on higher power guns. On my .40 carbine, I think itโs pretty good. As a budget magnifier behind a dot that I like, on a fairly inexpensive gun, I canโt complain AT ALL.

Not bad for the price.
I decided to write this review now that I've had it for a while so it would be a fair assessment. I bought this magnifier to go with a Feyachi V30 Red-Dot 2 MOA sight. I mounted it on my Ruger 10/22 50th Anniversary Design Contest rifle. The two mounted without issue and lined up perfect with each other. I can't say if this magnifier would line up as well with other Red-Dot sights because I don't own any other brands at this time. The one negative about the mount is that while the base CAN be set up for the optic to swing to the right, the button for release is now facing the wrong way, towards the barrel of the rifle. It makes it a little cumbersome to operate smoothly. I don't think this set up will work if you are looking for a quick transition between short- and long-range shots. If having the optic swing to the left isn't an issue for you, then operation is much easier, and with a little practice can be reasonably quick. Since I'm not speed shooting or doing drills with this set up, I am currently using it with a right-hand swing to get it out of the way of my non-dominate eye while using just the Red-Dot by itself. This allows both eyes open for better peripheral view on close targets. The 1.5 to 5 zoom feature is one if the things that drew me to it and I am fairly satisfied with its function. I don't shoot this rifle more than 100yrds, so I feel it is well suited to the task. Most magnifiers on the market are only 3x's power and at 50yrds, they are fine, but once you decide to reach out further the extra power is a definitely a plus. The only real problem I have with this magnifier is the eye relief. It is NOT good. It is a little hard to find that sweet spot, and once you have it, you had better not move your head because you can lose it again. I have used or viewed a Vortex Micro3x and it's a little better, neither are as good as a regular scope, and I know that's a whole different thing, but these magnifiers definitely could be better in that regard. I've read reviews for the Holosun HM3XT and believe it would probably be a much better choice for those who aren't concerned with the extra magnification. Hope this helps anyone who's looking for this type of set up.

Great Product, Minor issues, Buy it!
Very well built magnifier. Love that it's a variable and not fixed. The only little issues I have is that I wish the swivel back and forth was less stiff but that may change the more I manipulate it. The other is the eye relief. I have to stick my face pretty close to the scope to get a good sight alignment. Other than those two minor things, this is a great product if you don't want to spend the money on more name brand magnifiers that are just 3x. This works and functions just as good as those. I would highly recommend.

Eye relief? What's that?
This is a huge disappointment. I decided to try my luck with this magnifier since variable zoom is a fairly rare feature on magnifiers. First off their claim of 2-3 inches of eye relief is just straight up a lie. It's awful. There's only about 1.5 inches of eye relief, and the eye box is so tight that just shifting slightly has the entire picture disappearing. Very uncomfortable to look through, and I couldn't imagine trying to shoot it on anything larger than a .22. The recoil would drive this into your eye socket since there's so little relief. Also the flip-to-side mount was so stiff that I had to use both hands to pry it open, huge deal breaker on something that's supposed to be fast to flip out of the way first and foremost. Didn't even bother putting it all together and shooting with it, there's no point. You get what you paid for, and I should have paid for better glass and better craftsmanship.

Overkill?? NAH...
Paird with the Feyachi V30 2MOA Red Dot. It works as intended. But I've found that as I zoom in, it messes the red dot up and streaks it. So I've found that happy spot where the scope is still zoomed and the dot is crisp. Mounted to a .22 pellet gun and accurate out to 40+ yards.

Nice magnifier, easy to tune in.

For what we are using at the range, itโs fine. We barely use it now though as the novelty has worn off. Our use is better served with a conventional scope. As far as height alignment goes, we bought the feyachi adjustable height riser. Easy to nail the height with that.

The eye relief changes and so does the focal point as you zoom in and out. So your eye position relative to the ocular lense has to keep changing to get maximum eye relief. Once you get that sorted, fire off a few rounds, the centering for the eye relief shifts. As you turn the dial to adjust vertical angle, you can see it move up, then down slightly, then up, then down slightly. So it's not consistent as you turn, but rather jumps as you turn. The adjustments also have no means of holding center at all as it's just a screw with nothing retaining it like a clicking ratchet adjustment.

This is a 5x but it seems more like a 4x, the lens coating is OK but not multi-coated from the results, I have a $400.00 3x magnifier with a flip base and this 5x magnifier with flip base, it is 5mm lower to the rail so I would need to remove shims from the red-dot and I noticed a fairly good brightness difference (Lens coatings) it is like I am wearing sun glasses so dusk or dawn might be a problem, The image did not seem quite as sharp but I have the advantage of comparing, I posted a pic illustrating the difference. It is also an inch longer and slightly heavier, if you did not have anything to compare it would look very nice. So considering the price I gave it a 4-5 star, time will tell as to how well it stands up to being bumped and shocked but it seems so far it will be OK for a plinker where you are not worried about it possibly getting broken. So if you are on a budget or need a magnifier for a plinker, it is well worth the money at under a hundred bucks.

I bought this to use with the Feyachi V30 red dot that I had issues getting to zero, and thought this would be a great addon to be able to take advantage of a 2 MOA red dot, AND having the ability to zoom from 1.5 to 5x magnification. The big glaring problem with this critter, is that it is ONLY rated to handle recoil up to that of a 223/5.56mm. They completely fail to mention this in ANY of the ad copy when viewing on a PC based web browser, but DO seem to have this mentioned when you use a MOBILE cell phone browser !!! This is a rather BIG problem that should be addressed !! You only figure this out once you get it in hand and study the enclosed manual. I was kinda choked about this, but thought I would give it a try after mounting it and adjusting the windage and elevation screws, which by the by, felt REALLY loose ! All I needed was one shot on my .308 to knock the adjustments out of whack. Ok, fair enough, their rating is true ! So off it came, and back it goes. Sure be nice if they told you in the product info online what it *will* take in recoil energy before wasting the time, and ammo.
