Okay I was a little skeptical about buying clothes from Amazon Essentials. I mean a clothing brand by an internet company, but boy was I surprised. Buying clothes on-line can always be a hit or miss endeavor with sizing, color, and many other variables, but this was not the case with this sweater. To give a size reference I am about 185 lbs. and 5 11 with an athletic build, fairly muscular arms, 41-inch chest and average shoulders. The fit was perfect throughout the arms not to tight but looks fitted. The shoulders and neck were once again the same nice fit and not too tight. Also, since I have a smaller neck, the fit was perfect there. Not to big but enough to where a white underneath and have a little show. Overall, in the body it provides a nice, fitted look, but not too tight. The length is a a little past the belt and a little looser at the very bottom compared to the upper body part. In terms of material, it is cotton, but fairly heavy. I have worn it with a t-shirt underneath and a collared shirt and both look great. I think it is appropriate for fall or winter as a stand-alone piece if the temperature is not that cold or as a great layering piece if the weather turns cold. I have worn over an undershirt, dress shirt and a jacket and I was warm. Now it is cotton not wool or cashmere, but it is heavy enough that it provides good warmth. The color is a true black. Now let's talk about price. I think I paid around $23.10 for this sweater on sale. The same sweater from one of the other name brand stores would run well over a hundred bucks. Overall, the quality and durability of this sweater is on par with the name brands. This was absolute a steal for that price. This was one of the first Amazon Essentials clothing purchases that made me a believer in this brand. I have made several other purchases with this brand and have been very satisfied. There have a couple items that I just didn't, but the return process was easy, fast, and reliable. I am sold on Amazon Essentials as an affordable great casual clothing option. Since then, I have bought many more items which I will review later.

This is a classic stretchy cable knit sweater, all cotton, perfect quality. I paid $18 on January 29, 2026. Now on March 30 the price is $22. April one update: In case someone else is in my situation with arthritis in the shoulders, I first ordered a Large thinking stretchy and extra big on me would help put it one. However, I found the Large way too big, and ordered a Medium as well. In the meantime, I washed and dried in the drier the Large one. When the Medium came today, I laid them on top of each other. Now the shrunken Large one is perfect for me, and is smaller than the Medium one. So I will return the Medium one that just arrived. I didn't even put it on. These sweaters are a great value. I'm glad I got the off-white color as I think it suits these classic cableknits best. It's more a cream color, a natural undyed appearance.

I love this sweater -- so much I stole if from my hubby! Great look, washes well. Soft and warm. It held up to washing and comes our looking like new. I love that the arms were long enough - which is often an issue even when I order things for my husband in larger sizes sometimes the sleeves are not long and the sweater is not long enough to cover him. This was both of those things. I honestly ordered another one for me, because it was so nice and I kept stealing his. It you are looking for a classic cable knit sweater that takes into account that big guys might actually have long arms - order this. And if you like wearing oversize sweaters that you stole from your husband -- you might want to order 2.

I love this sweater. The cotton yarn is very soft and I wore this outside on a 50 degree day with a tank top underneath, and was comfortable. Any colder than that, though, and you’d need another layer. Sizing: I wanted OVERSIZED. I am 5’3”, 35-27-40 measurements (with a bit of a postpartum tummy), and I bought a men’s XL. It covers my butt and no part of the sweater beyond the shoulders really touches me. it is completely loose, which is what I was aiming for. I do have to roll the cuffs quite a bit, as this thing is made for someone much taller. I love it.

Love the look and quality of this sweater. I purchased several colors and purchased cute mini skirts to match. Paired them with knee boots for cute, easy outfits for date night. My husband loved them and was surprised when I told him they were men's sweaters.

I was a little iffy as I’m used to paying double for a sweater but took a chance. I’m happy. I may buy a 2nd I like it so much I flit between L/Xl women’s and M/Lg in men’s clothing. I did a Lg hoping it would be roomy enough for layering but not too sloppy. It hit the mark. The sleeves are long. I have to roll up the cuff and it still hangs almost to my knuckles but that’s good for cold walks along the shore when the wind is chilly.

Ja, wie schon hier gelesen, ist der Pullover spürbar schwerer als vergleichbare Baumwoll Pullover. Das Zopfmuster ist fehlerfrei ausgeführt, soweit ich das gesehen habe. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf. Eventuell melde ich mich noch einmal zu Wort, nachdem der Pullover aus der Wäsche kam. Nun die Passform. Ich bin 187/188cm groß und wiege etwa 90Kg. Der Pullover in "L" sitzt bei mir mit einen dünnen Shirt darunter etwa körperbetont, aber ganz sicher nicht zu eng!!! Die Armlänge ist excellent, also nicht zu kurtz. Selbst nach den ersten Waschgang, vermute ich keine zu kurze Ärmel. Die Körperlänge ist bei mir genau richtig, nicht zu lang und nicht zu kurz. M.
