We got this for a Muay Thai punching bag. Works as intended. No complaints.

I wanted to support a heavy bag between two rafters so I built a bridge out of 2x6 and some metal strapping. The hanger bolts lined up well enough with the metal strap for it not to be a problem getting everything locked down tight.

I purchased this in June 2023. In June 2025, my child was on his fabric swing and the carabiner failed, causing my child to fall to the floor. Luckily they were sitting up and only 2 feet above the floor, falling on their bottom. It is obvious the friction of daily use as a swing by a 4 year old has been enough to destroy this hardware. I do not trust this brand and will never purchase from them again. I am looking for hardware built with the intention of holding a 40 pound child, swinging.

It’s durable and once installed correctly it will hold the heavy bag with ease and kicks and punches will have no effect to the brackets durability.

I twisted two of the accompaning bolts off. I went to home depot and bought stainless steel bolts. No other problems after the tinker toy hardware.

Strong!!! And sturdy material!!!
