Quiet and comfortable
Seeing that the AirPods Pro 3 have been released, and that they have the same exact NC chip but with a different stem design and new silicone-memory foam eartips, I wanted to see if I can get ‘upgrade’ my existing Pro 2 in the same way that Apple did And yeah, these ear tips are great for blocking out extra noise that the original tips didn’t. Anecdotally, people say that the silicone tips can stretch over time, causing a worse seal and therefore worse NC. And I believe so too. These tips are very firm and secure in your ear therefore causing a really good seal. You can still hear voices most predominantly, since that’s a limitation of noice cancelling in general, but otherwise they’re pretty good at blocking out music and bass. I used the smallest tips and they fit like a glove It is yet to be seen how long these last before they deteriorate, as memory foam naturally breaks down over time. But for my intended usage, which is using my AirPods for sleep, these tips should be perfect

Good, but imperfect.
They help my airpods stay perfectly in my ears, never need adjustment. They block sound more effectively and have a fuller, heavier sound quality than the silicons. The transparency is ever so slightly altered. But there’s a reason earbuds come with silicon tips, durability. I have had mine for a month today and its showing. When the AirPods case closes it can catch the foam of my right earbud, meaning there’s a small rip in it already. Still completely wearable and get the job done brilliantly just know this ahead of time. Once or twice I have found that despite being in the case the AirPods haven’t charged. Due to the durability concerns I highly recommend getting 3 of 1 size, and hoping they last a long time. The more the foam wears the less springy it will be so I doubt the smalls are going to be as comfortable. I have the mediums, and sometimes ponder on if i got the larges they would have more longterm usability, but probably would get caught in the case more, so 6 of one half a dozen of the other. I haven’t had to switch them yet, and I don’t look forward to it either hahah. In conclusion, I’m so happy I have these while I have these. But that time will one day come to an end, but I will still have the silicons ready and waiting. Update: 30.04.24 after 6+ months I have to switch one. There’s been wear and tear but today the left foam split in 2 finally. Meaning I and moving onto the second set. Honestly, longer than anticipated. Update: 06.11.25 Finally the last pair have perished. Give or take, id say a pair of foam tips last up to 6 months max. Perhaps the hybrid silicon/foam tips have a longer lifespan.

Good alternative to the originals
Was finding that my ears were getting irritated by the silicon ones that came with the Airpod Pros. Was also finding that after initially always getting a good seal from the seal test I started to find it was harder to get. Even with new Apple tips it was hard to get a good seal that was comfortable for a longer period. So, I chose these. They are easy to fit and do take a bit of effort to get off again. I still don't always get a good seal according to the test but they feel and sound good. I could probably do with an extra large size or something that is a little bit longer to get a perfect seal. However, these feel really comfortable and don't feel like you are going to lose them. Not noticed any difference in sound quality between the originals or these. Would I buy them again? Yes. despite the seal test saying I need to adjust or try a different tip they work. With noise cancellation off they are effective. Not had the irritation in my ear so far. Sound quality is just as good too.

Mixed Expereience: I really wanted to like these
In the past I had a pair of wired Shure ear buds (~2006) that did an incredible job at isolating external sound, with bass that was incredibly impressive and convincing, for all but the absolutely lowest frequencies. The physical isolation on those were so good that on the noisy subway in NYC, I could barely hear the outside world, if ever at all. When listening to them, I felt like I was in another place. They had no fancy noise cancelling technology, but had excellent dense and durable foam, a great seal, and the bass was just nailed on those. I next had a really much more epensive pair of Ultimate Eears with added Comply Foam, and those had good isolation too, if not as good as the Shure earbuds, again without noise canceling technology, and these had better midrange and highs and frequency seperation / clarity in comparison to the Shures. Then comes the Air Pods Pro g2. People, including sound / mastering engineers I know rave about the sound quality of these, but I have always been underhelmed by the noise canceling technology on offer. It only partially compensates for weak physical sound isolation of the design of the Air Pod Pros. I can still hear so much of the outside world with the default ear tips, even with noise cancelling enabled. While the frequency seperation and human voices sound amazingly clear on these, the bass is lacking / absolutely not convincing to me, tinny overall... dissapointing considering the cost. Adding these Comply foam tips to the Air Pod Pros, sound isolation and bass performance are improved, which is good. I like the improvement. However, it may be a design limitation of the Air Pod Pros, but the physical sound isolation and bass performance still just do not compare to my previous experience with the Shure and Ultimate Ear / Comply tipped earbuds. The difference is so significant. On the London tube, the noise of people talking loudly, train driver announcements, and the screaching of the trian on the tracks are all clearly heard, only slightly lessened, and so noise of the outside world remains distracting. The improved sound aside, the Comply foam tips fall apart in relatively short periods of time / not very durable. One of these tips did not fit/stay connected to the ear bud very well from the first use, and falls off frequently. But the worse problem yet is they interfere with the case detection that the ear buds are seated in the closed ear bud case. This means while inside a closed case, they sometimes do not charge, and/or turn on unexpectedly. I'll be using my phone somewhere and the phone sound will automatically switch to the Air Pod Pro's while they are closed up in the case.... shaking the case around or reseating the ear buds in the case resolve this.... sometimes.... other times not. Either way, the interuption disrupts phone calls or anything involving the microfone or sound on the phone.

good and cheap but have to be really careful about it being caught in the case in which case it gets torn and bits and pieces keep falling out. this is a medium size, can't imagine the people who bought large... you would not be able to close the case without tearing a chunk out of the foam... would try other brands.

These are great quality and they hold in your ears really well. I bought the large size to match the large original AirPods Pro tips and it was a perfect fit for my ears. They also fit in the charging case without any issue. Comply tips are better value as some brands only come with 2 pairs but these come with 3 pairs. 10/10

Comfort +++ Bass ++ Volume - - Clarity/ Treble - Durability - - - I seem to be getting different results from a lot of folks here. I’ve found they lose a bit on the high end and bleed a bunch of volume (gone from listening at 45% to around 65-70%, but the bass response has been lifted massively (at all volume levels). Comfort wise they are perfect, I find I can use the small or medium and they sit very securely. Based on other reviews and the material, I’m sure they won’t last as long, but worth it considering how uncomfortable I found the standard tips. If you’re disappointed with your AirPods Pro, give these a try.

Tragedia. Pomimo pojawiających się komentarzy dalej wysyłają wersję 1.0, pomimo widnienia w tytule, że sprzedają wersję 2.0. Jak ktoś nie chce tracić czasu to polecam znaleźć inny sklep, niż amazon.
