Heavy Duty Canvas Tote-coal Bag 25x14x11

I used to be an at&t repairman (I&R) and this was pretty much the bags we were issued to carry all our stuff. It may even be a little thicker actually as I believe this is 26oz canvas and I think the ones they issued us were 24oz. It's very heavy duty and stiff. If you open it up and flatten the bottom, it'll stand up on it's own fairly well. I've used it to collect rocks for a garden project. Sat it down in the middle of an area that was just cleared for construction and gathered river rocks to fill the bag with. I completely underestimated the weight of the rocks. I filled the bag about halfway up and tried to lift it. I'm a 180lb athletic male and I could barely deadlift the weight, let alone carry it to my car. It had to be well over 150lbs however when I did lift it for a brief moment, the handles seemed like they could easily hold another 150lbs with no issue. Extremely durable to say the least. I used to consistently carry over 100lbs of equipment including sharp metal objects in a bag just like this (but a little thinner) when I was with at&t. They never showed signs up wear they'd just get dirty is all. I can only imagine this bag will surpass even that performance since it's thicker. If you want a bag that will carry more weight than you could ever hold and is virtually indestructible, get this bag. Price is much higher than your typical canvas bag but totally worth it. You'll have it for a lifetime.

These are the most useful bag ever! The rugged construction stays open for easy loading or sorting in the bag.No longer do I dread getting home from the grocery store. Everything is easily moved from the car to the kitchen.These are the same bag that utility companies use for work crews. I have one from the 1960's and it still works great. They make a great gift also.

This is a large heavy duty canvas bag with comfortable handles; it is stiff but after a washing (really just water and out to dry) it softens and becomes more pliable. Good for moving bulk items or firewood; I use it on my my boat for gear when cruising.
