Its just a light exfoliant. **Q: Will it help fade a tattoo?** A: Hi I'm not a dermatologist or tattoo artist but here's my thoughts on your question, the ink is injected further into the layers of the skin than any product would be able to fade the ink. I do not believe this product would fade a tattoo,I don't think it would hurt to try but just be prepared if you don't see the results your hoping for.I do believe the only way would be to have it professionally removed-Good Luck.
