Absolutely non sticking & so simple to clean. I just squirt some dish soap into the cooled pan, add hot water and swish with a sponge, quick rinse & presto changeo...it's clean and ready for another use. I ran them through the dishwasher before the first use, to get rid of manufacturing chemicals. They'll never see the inside of a dishwasher again. I did a lot of research on non-stick pans and apparently you're not supposed to put them into a dishwasher or use an oil spray like Pam because it hastens the wearing off of the non-stick treatment. I bought an oil mister from desertcart, filled it with olive oil & use that instead of Pam. If you read the ingredients on a can of Pam, you'll see it contains way more than just oil. Besides, misting is more gentle than spraying. The pan will love you for it. The pan is fairly heavy, I was concerned about not being able to throw (saute) the food but after a few attempts, it's quite easy to do. Omelettes are a breeze and cleanup's a snap! I would definitely recommend these pans to anyone looking for reliable non-stick cookware. It's a heavy duty pan, and is quite heavy to lift. I gave the pan a quick wash and tested it for a few meals. The pan do take longer than the Tefnal to heat up. My usual fried eggs takes longer to cook on medium-high heat. The sausages came out well, a beautiful char. When I made my fried noodles the non stick function came in, and solidify the sauce. I use both Calphalon sear and slide line and All-clad non stick with one reservation, their HA 1 line. First they are made in China and they have the worst handles ever created. I am a retired Chef with over 40 years experience. I have used many different pots and pans in my career and never used a pan with such an uncomfortable handle. The way it's made it cuts into your hand when you lift it, even with out food in it. With food it's even worse. If you want to use All-clad, buy their regular line of pots, not the HA 1 series. **Q: Is it safe for metal utensils** A: no it is not it will scratch **Q: Is this hand crafted in the us or is it made in china? thanks!** A: The hard anodized lines are made in China and that's why they are so affordable. Their other stainless steel lines are made in USA. **Q: How deep is the 8" pan? What is the diameter of the bottom? How deep is the 10" pan? What is the diameter of the bottom?** A: Both pans are 1-7/8 deep.
