Impossible to lift pan with one hand without the pan rotating - it becomes unbalanced. Yes, there is a short assist handle on the side of the pan opposite the long handle but using that to steady the pan leaves no hand free to deal with the lid. The lid could easily dislodge releasing steam. Turning the cooked contents into a bowl or strainer is awkward. What I do like is the shape of the pan itself, the quick release finish for ease of cleaning and the capacity(3.5 qts.) which is an excellent mid size between the 1 and 2 qt.s and a soup kettle. Some engineering on the length if the handle vs. twisting balance would be helpful.

A perfect size and shape for many tasks. Reasonable price for All-Clad, glass lid is a plus.

So far it’s working just fine

Weight and surface of the pot very nice. The handle is poorly designed. Very uncomfortable to hold. Can’t get a good grip on it. I returned it because I didn’t feel safe in using the pot while carrying it with hot contents.
