Denman Gentle Paddle Hairbrush for Comfortable Detangling, Blowdrying and Styling

I watched a YouTube video by CurlMaven and she recommended this brush. Up to that point I was using a special wide tooth comb that had tines that crossed. I will never go back to my comb again. Even more, I won’t ever use another brush again. This brush is awesome! It is soft and doesn’t break my hair. It is also amazing at detangling my daughter’s hair, which is really saying something. I only brush our hair when it’s wet since we have curly hair, so I can say this brush is perfect for wet hair, but it’s also supposed to be good for dry hair too. And it’s supposed to be good for all hair types. It’s truly a great all around brush. To understand what I mean, you have to just try this brush!

I use this on my goldendoodle, who has very tight curls. I find it much more effective and comfortable for casual brushing than a traditional slicker brush.

I looked in my drawer and thought that I should never ever for the rest of my life have to buy a brush, as I have round brushes, paddle brushes, vent brushes all in multiple sizes. Then I read a review on BuzzFeed about this brush, and despite my better judgment, I bought it. I could not be more pleased because this brush has helped me to do something that no other brush was able to do; I am now able to blow dry my bangs straight using this brush when my hair is damp. There is something about the way that the brush grabs the hair that enables you to pull your bangs to the right and then to the left leaving them straighter than I have been able to get them with any other brush. I then follow up with a round brush just for final smoothing, but this brush has really made the job a lot easier. (In fact, when my bangs are shorter right after my hair is cut, I can skip the round brush step all together. I use the round brush when their longer simply because my hair is wavy and if I don't completely smooth out the ends, it will curl back up on me.) I also use this to brush out the rest of my hair when I am doing a rough dry. Bending over and drying the underneath part is so much easier with this brush. It is very gentle, and I never find it snags my hair. (My hair is thin, but I have a lot of it.) If I want to dry the rest of my hair, I can stand up and use this brush if I choose not to use a round brush. I paid ~$12 for this brush and it is worth every penny!

Great brush for blow drying and styling. I would give it a 100/10. The best brush and it detangles like butter.

(Middle) 4B fine hair. This definitely works very well to detangle hair. Especially for blow drying or detangling once dry. I’m not sure how I feel about it on only wet hair or if you are a wet style only natural. It’s a tool so you can definitely experience mechanical damage from hair tools. I am now invested in the large size private to the right with the red cushion. That one is better for detangling my hair so far (two uses).

I had my first Denman 15 years ago and bought it in Dadeland Mall, Miami. It was getting old eventhough it still looked new when I clean. But it was time to buy a new one. So, I wanted to buy the same brand. This one had also smaller parts and it is so easy brush my hair. Better than the old one. I never pull my hair. It brushes so softly and so comfortable, indeed. It is light, easy to carry - You can brush your hair wet or dry. I am so happy with this purchase.

I’m a professional stylist. I’ve used this brush for 20 years. It gets the job done. There brushes detangle all textures As time went on I feel the quality is not made like before This is must buy for me. You will love it.

Been using this make and type of brush forever. Keeps my hair shiny and tangle free without pain. It’s sturdy and a good quality brush that reduces static. I’ve tried using other brands but I don’t find them to be as effective as the Denman brush .

I bought this brush in pink for my daughter and we both loved it so much I had to buy another one!

I just love this brush, I can blow dry the hair, detangle my hair, and use as a daily brush to go through my hair. I highly recommend this brush because it can be used for multiple purpose. Super amazing
