Are the ball tips part of the nylon pin and therefore made as one whole piece? I just do not want the balls to come off ;)

My 20 year old Denman paddle brush has no ball at the tip and is wonderful. My new Denman paddle brush has ball tips. It must be less expensive to make it this way, but it is not as good a design. My hair catches at the join between the tips and the pin.

How heavy is the brush?

It's not heavy at all actually lighter than most brushes

Does the handle of this brush have a cushioned grip?

No cushion grip, it is plastic I believe. I have not had any problems with this brush!!
