Fix your Samsung RS265TDRS Side by side refrigerator not cooling
If your samsung side by side refrigerator is not cooling let it defrost for several days then replace the following parts: SAMSUNG DA31-00146E MOTOR FAN-BLDC DREP5 OEM Samsung DA47-00322J Heater-Sheath Metal Ref Samsung OEM Original Part: DA32-00029Q Refrigerator Temperature Sensor Copy paste these descriptions into Amazon search. Its usually caused by one of these or multiple failures. Replacement takes less than 30 minutes with a phillips screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. All parts are located in the refrigerator enclosure behind the lower panel. Pull all the shelves out and remove the lighting covers to expose screws.When you replace the parts inside the fridge make sure you remove the panel behind the fridge and vacuum off any build up on the coils (you will know when you see them). Also, there are 2 white rubber drain hoses. Make sure they are free of debris. Thats it! A beginner can do the job in less than an hour.

Simple to install, worth the effort
This replacement coil saved me a bundle on a fridge repair and has brought our ten year old fridge back to life. It was a perfect fit.

Wire is not long enough, but can make it work. Don't forget to clear the drain tube with hot water
The wire is not long enough. However, I made it work with a water proof "extension" using the wires of the old one that I was replacing. Other than that, it seems it is working fine. After replacing, make sure you use hot water to melt the drain tube of the defrost system; doing a rinse with the help of a pipet (or nasal aspirator with a tube attached to it) helps, just be prepared to repeat this process at least 50 times until the water you push/swish simply goes through the drain.

Thermal sensor wiring too short
The lead from the thermal sensor to the refrigerator connection point is at least 6" too short. Had to subsequently cut molded connector on wire and splice to the original wiring in fridge. Not compatible with the Samsung RS263TDPN/XAA Side by Side we have!

Fit my refrigerator. I don't think the old one ...
Fit my refrigerator. I don't think the old one was broken, but i had to replace the fan in there anyhow, so i figured may as well. I also replaced the control board too, so the three of those things basically renewed my fridge to "refurbished"

Too short!! i bought this for my Samsung ...
Too short!! i bought this for my Samsung RS267TDPN. end of the wires never reach to their places. Didn't believe the other review but now i can confirm that it is too short.
