Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil (1.7 Fl Oz)

I purchased Gisou Honey Infused Oil based on the many positive reviews it has received and the claims that it helps tame frizz, improves hair sheen and controls the effect of humidity on hair. The oil is non-greasy and has a pleasant smell (that you will hardly notice). I initially purchased the smallest (0.7 fl. oz.) size because it is fairly expensive and I wanted to try it out and see if it would perform as advertised on my hair. I am thoroughly pleased! I use the oil sparingly, in part because it's expensive and I am finding that is all that I need for excellent and consistent results. I take about a half full dropper of the oil, rub it into the palm of my hands and then distribute the oil on the ends of my hair. I go through this routine every other night before pin-curling my hair. In the morning, I remove the hair pins and my curls are luscious with lots of body and shine. Since I have started using Gisou Honey Infused Oil, I have received lots of compliments on the look and feel of my hair. I would like to try the Gisou hair mask at some point. The oil is truly exceptional and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lightweight, moisturizing hair product that effectively manages frizz and humidity.

Brought Gisou hair oil 4 months ago and I still haven’t ran out of it even though the bottle is small I still have half of it left. You do not need a lot at all, only a few drops do the job. I learned the hard way and my hair looks very greasy so please be careful with the amount you use. It smells amazing too, I always get complimented on my hair smelling good. Love this product so much

I have straight, Asian hair and the Gisou Oil is a good oil but probably not the best for my hair type. It is a thicker oil so I have to use it at night after washing my hair to give it time to sink in. My hair is really soft and silky in the morning after using the oil this way. However, I cannot use it during the day unless I have my hair completely bunned up, the oil is just too heavy for my hair type. I don't have this issue with other oils that work just as well whether given time to absorb or during the day. This oil may be better suited for thick hair on the coarse side. Also mine does not have any scent at all, I was hoping for a honey scent if it is "honey infused" but there is only a very faint old kind of smell despite the nice glass bottle and dropper.

The oil is lightweight, smells great, and leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth, and shiny. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

I have a complicated relationship with this hair oil. it works very well, it contains silicone’s that fill up empty spots into your hair that make your hair strands appear fuller. I don’t know what they put into this hair oil, but it prevents your hair from looking greasy and it’s very buildable. Around the time that I was consistently using it, I was actually growing my hair a lot longer and fuller, but that could also just be due to me taking care of my hair more often. It works really well, but I’m just afraid for the price that it’s not everything that it truly is. If you want a reliable hair oil and you have the money to spend absolutely go for it and try it out but if you don’t, then I would look past the pretty packaging and the influencer marketing and find a cheaper alternative. But overall, it’s a great hair oil that doesn’t have much greasiness to it, it makes your hair look, shiny and tames frizz, and it’s not very sticky. This hair oil also works on both curly and straight hair, which I love.
