Great flyer with a good camera!
The media could not be loaded. This drone looks a little like a cross between a mini Parrot bebop and my DJI spark. I was toying with the idea of getting a Tello but I don't like flying with a smart phone and much prefer a dedicated controller, plus the Wave Razor is about half the price. The drone is compact but not overly small so I feel quite comfortable in taking it outside to use for selfie projects. It comes with a single battery but I bought the separate twin battery add on to increase flying time. They are proprietary batteries which I am not normally keen on with toy grade drones. However, my normal arguments with these kinds of batteries don't really apply here. Firstly, the spare batteries are not that expensive... only a little dearer than standard lipos. Secondly, the batteries unusually have micro USB ports to charge them with. This is a brilliant idea and I have no idea why other manufacturers don't do the same thing... especially the single cell batteries. This means that if you have a multi charger or several wall chargers, you can charge multiple batteries at once plus you can use standard power banks to charge the batteries in the field. So simple! There is a green light on the batteries which extinguishes once the battery is charged. The drone itself is a brushed motor drone to keep costs down and as such you will really want to let the drone cool down for a few minutes between batteries so as not to overheat the motors. This should also mean that motors should be fairly cheap and easy to replace as they wear out. There is a 720p camera and with my experience so far, it's one of the best cameras I've seen on the toy grade drones, better that my more expensive ones. Not up to the quality of the spark but we are talking about a vastly different price range. Also, although the camera does not come with a gimbal but the image is still remarkably stable and I suspect some digital stabilisation is present. It doesn't do quite so well in the windy weather but it's still pretty good. My only minor criticism is that the front prop guards end up in the field of view but you can get around this if you take the prop guards off which I would suggest a good idea for outdoor flying.I also love the fact that the camera will record directly onto a micro SD card (not supplied) so you get the best quality available. I've been using a 32gb card but you only really need an 8gb or maybe 16gb if you do not transfer your videos regularly, the file sizes are not that big. I've not yet worked out if you can record the streaming video onto your smart phone but it's not really necessary. The altitude hold works very well and makes flying the drone very easy. You do have to be a little careful if you are flying indoors as the drone leaps into the air on take off so you have to be ready to counter that. Outside it's a non issue.Once flying it is a very stable flyer. My first indoor test flight with the guards on were on the slow speed and it flies very well. The intermediate and high speeds are harder indoors because the drone just has a single slow-ish yaw rate and this makes dynamic turns a little trickier in confined spaces. There is a flip button on the shoulder of the controller. Press this then move the right stick in the direction you want the flip. The drone will lose a little bit of height in the flip but then flies up to regain it's previous altitude. It also features a headless mode which could be useful for the novice flyer or for setting up camera shots. The one button return on all these drones is of limited use and I personally never use it.The auto land button brings the drone down when you are ready but the drone does descend at quite a rate so be prepared for that. You need the 'Helicute' app for your FPV experience and the phone holder on the controller is quite generous in size so should cope with most of the phones currently around though I've only got an S6 edge so can't really test that out.To bind to the app you need to turn on the drone first, then link to it's WiFi hotspot with your phone. Once connected, open the app and hit play and you'll see the feed from the camera. You can use the phone to control the drone but I would only want to do that in exception circumstances (ie, your controller batteries die) as lack of tactile feedback make it harder to fly and you'll also limit your range. The controller takes 4 AAA batteries which do not come supplied. This has become my favourite indoor flyer and you'll see from my video how stable this is to fly. My wish list for this would be a case to hold it and spare batteries so I'll have to start searching for something suitable. Also maybe a couple more batteries would not go amiss. The review video is highly compressed so you do not get the true video quality so I'd suggest going to my Youtube version to get a higher quality and more detailed version. Great product for the price!!!
This is a great little drone for the price !!! It was delivered to on time. I bought it without having expectations because i knew that for the price i can't ask much. But this little drone just surprised me !!! I loved it first sight because its a good looking drone sturdy and solid.Materials don't feel like cheap plastic and in practice its very durable. You need a few flights in the beginning to get used to its behaviour and you will have some crashes but once you get keen on its responsiveness and after a few trimmings you will be surprised of how stable it is. Altitude hold works pretty well. Controller is perfect size and comfortable to hold. I have it for almost a month and i never had connectivity issues. As for the camera its the best you can get for this price or even double the price. It not great but its really crisp and steady. In daylight its awesome. It has some noise in low light but the image is not pixelated. Flight time is about 8 to 10 minutes!! depending on the speed you use the video recording etc. Generally this drone is perfect for the price and i believe its better than other drones that cost double even triple the price. I definitely think that this product deserves more reviews. One last thing to mention is that the customer service is remarkable. I had a few questions about the drone and their responses were almost instant and they are willing to help you with any problem you have.

Easy to fly, tricky to set up!
The media could not be loaded. Tricky to set up but easy to fly, this is great little drone that is packed with features and is very stable. However pairing the remote control with the drone is very tricky and took about 15 mins to complete. The camer quality is pretty good for a drone of this budget. It’s worth investing in a SD card so footage can be saved to the drone as the live-streaming gets patchy after you reach about 60ft in height. The attached video is from my first flight. We didn’t hit maximum height as the battery started to expire before I had a chance to get some real high footage (spent most of the battery getting a feel for the controls). Overall I’m very pleased and look forward to trying out some of the more advanced functions. A good purchase.

Good drone - but arrived damaged
Good points:Flies well, WiFi camera works wellBad points:One propeller was damaged on arrival - Youtube replacement instructions are for different model. Had to figure it out as it was Christmas and my son wanted to use his present - but tricky to do and fiddly.Instructions are difficult to decipher (and don’t include repair instructions - just a qr code to an out of date Youtube video)

5 Star to CELLSTAR drone!!! Excellent!!
The media could not be loaded. The CellStar drone comes in excellent packaging make sure the drone is not damaged while shipping. The contents of the packaging are,1. Drone2. Remote control3. USB to mini USB charger4. 4 additional blades with mini screw driver5. 1 additional battery (more flying time)5. Manual for the drone operation. This is a mid-size drone, which is good for indoor flying. Flying experience is really excellent as it is very stable. The drone is very responsive to any trimming (right, left, front and back) done. The left joystick when pressed down changes the speed at which the drone changes direction while the right one is an enabler for the 360 flip trick. One thing i like about this product is that you don't need to attach the battery to the drone to charge it. The battery has a mini USB charging port which means you can charge two batteries at the same time. This is a very good starting out drone as new users are normally afraid to fly outdoor and can practice indoor initially.Would highly recommend this drone as it is value for money. Look forward to future version of this.Attached photos and video for perusal
