Helps with stomach issues.

Right now I'm dealing with some extreme gastrointestinal problems. My doctors are doing tests to determine what is wrong with me. While I search for answers, I've been taking these Peppermint oil pills for my stomach pains. It actually works when nothing else does! (believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING) I was absolutely amazed that within 30 minutes of taking these pills my stomach pains subsided. It was like a cool coating in my belly that completely numbs the cramps, pain and stabbing feeling in my gut, I feel normal and fine. It's such a relief! I also love the peppermint taste from my breath. I take these pills 3 times a day. Usually about a half hour before every meal. I no longer have pain when I eat, and it helps give me an appetite which I was lacking before. I usually don't write up product reviews, but I know what it's like to be looking for a remedy when you have gastrointestinal issues. This actually works. So if you have IBS, Celiacs or any other problems like that. I definitely recommend giving these a shot. I was reluctant at first because I was convinced it WOULDN'T work. Just another pill that drains my wallet. I'm really glad I overcame that doubt and I ordered these. I finally found something that helps.

I got these to try to calm my IBS but also because some research has claimed it can help with gall bladder issues. So far, after about a week, I can say my colon does feel a bit better, and I have not experienced anywhere near the amount of gall bladder discomfort i was experiencing the past few months. So why only 4 stars? Well it's because the enteric-coated capsules seem to be dissolving before leaving my stomach. The entire purpose of the enteric-coating is to keep them from dissolving until they enter your colon, for better absorption. Since I have been burping a peppermint taste, and my throat feels pepper minty about a 3rd of the time i take them, I am very certain the coating is not lasting. I mean as far as i know, I don't burp from my colon. Still they seem to be working so far, so I like them.

I have SIBO and was at the point that I didn't know what to eat any more. Everything was a problem. Even the water I drank was bloating me. I did a lot of research because the antibiotic the doctor gave me had terrible side effects and I couldn't take it. One research shows that SIBO was decreased by 40% with this product after 10 days and 80% after 20 days, so this was my last rope. After 2 days I started feeling the difference. No more pain and was able to eat small meals without getting bloated. I am on the 5th day and today I even forgot to take my enzymes but I still didn't get bloated. My doctor recommended Atrantil but I haven't ordered it yet. It's pricey. I am planning to continue taking this even past one bottle. At the same time I have diverticulitis, but this product seems to be helping so much with absolutely no sided effects. I think I still have to take my enzymes and probiotics for a lot longer but the relief from this product has been amazing. I haven't had fruit for at least 2 weeks, and today I had a pear (I used to get bloated with pears but love them). Because of the Pepogest, the pear did not bother me a bit. I really feel like a new person.

Great product, taste, value, smell, ease of use. Please note before reading my side effects that I have several friends who take these with NO ISSUES. Side effects for me was gas and I had to stop using them because they did not agree with my body.

I have IBS (SIBO) and I am being treated by a naturopathic doctor. My doctor almost has me cured, but every once in a while something won't sit right and I'll use a Pepogest. It works quickly and relaxes my intestines. I have other peppermint pills but the mixture of ingredients in this one sits well in my own stomach. The other ones don't work quite as well. I can't find this brand name in stores but I have a well-stocked medicine cabinet with the bottles I bought from Amazon.
