Great for making Rifle Stock Pillars
Although I am able to locate premade rifle stock pillars online; many are 1/2" in outer diameter and require excessive wood removal, making the stock weak for a good support of the pillar when epoxied in place. For this reason is why I use the 7/16" outer diameter with improved result for rifle stock "pillar bedding". In most popular applications I use the next size up from 7/16" drill bit for the stock, then simply run a 1/4" drill bit thru the inner hole for a nice near perfect fit of the stock retention fasteners. Many popular brand rifle actions are a common 1/4 x 28 fine thread screw. Aluminum is easily custom contoured either by hand or in a mill or lathe for perfect mating to the action. I can easily make 4-5 sets from a single section of this tube, as compared to the price of premade units being the same of higher price of this product.

A little shorter than 12"
I like the quality and everything about this, except it was not 12". It was only 11 7/8". Not a big difference unless one needed the full length.

This was a great product for what I used it for. I used it to make a motorcycle shift push rod and it was perfect.

seems to be a good quality, but short
seems to be a good quality tubing, but shorter than described - 11-3/4" instead of a full foot. If you as myself need a full foot, this will not fit

Good quality
We used as axles in yarn spinning machine fliers and bobbins and it works very well. You can cut with a standard pipe cutter or use a hack saw.
