Have not have it long (few weeks) but so far so good, picks up WiFi signal great on my front porch, controls my lighting system with on problems. Very EZ to set up and operate.

I use Alexa rather extensively in and around my home with outlets, light switches, and bulbs. I've been using these outside for Christmas lights mostly. A plug also runs a heat mat setup in front of a hottub during the winter on a daily schedule.

This is a good, basic, outdoor, WiFi smart plug that works as expected and a great option for automating outdoor holiday or patio lights. The product arrived packaged in an easy to open cardboard box that included only this smart plug and a small instruction pamphlet. The build quality of the plug is good enough (I'm not disappointed), but I own another outdoor smart plug (same form-factor and features) that is higher quality, although it was also more expensive. Setup is very straight forward, simply scan the QR code included in the instructions to find and download the appropriate app to your device, create an account and follow the instructions. I did have to manually enter my WiFi information (ssid and password), but once I did it came online right away. You can manually control power with a button on the plug or you can control remotely using the app. The app is clean, simple and intuitive. Using the app you can create and control lighting groups (if you have more devices from this same manufacture), create automations, or simply setup on/off timers. Amazon Alexa support is also pretty straight forward, within the app you select "Support", then "Connect to Amazon Alexa" and link your account. There are a few area this falls short. First, the instructions say to scan the QR code or search the app store for the "UltraPro" app. I was unable to find an "UltraPro" app in the Apple app store and scanning the QR code directs me to an app called "enbrighten" which creates a little confusion. Also, there's no support for integration with Samsung Smartthing or any other smarthome hub other than Google/Amazon. One thing to consider when purchasing these WiFi smart devices (plugs/switches/lights/etc.) is that you have to create an online account for each different manufacture you use. So from an account management/security prospective, it's wise to stick to a single trusted brand rather than having to create an online account with several different companies. It's also worth noting that this operates on 2.4Ghz WiFi only, which is common for many outdoor WiFi devices because while 2.4Ghz signals offer less bandwidth, they offer greater range and penetration of exterior walls. Plus you don't need much bandwidth to trigger a switch. Overall, I think this is a good option for controlling outdoor, seasonal holiday lighting, but for everyday needs there better options available. Although, you may pay a little more.

I used this for my first experience hanging Christmas lights and it was amazing, specifically for outdoors. I was able to schedule lights on and off and change colors and patterns. Every home should have game changer appliances and accessories. This is one of them.

I purchased this to turn on and off my electric fence charger. It's a reap PITA to have to plug/unplug your charger while trying to fix the fence! No one has time to walk back and forth across 40 acres. I looked at remote products and they only covered 100' but then found these. Since my fence chargers are within range of WIFI these were perfect! I can turn it on and off from anyplace in the world that I have cell service! They are a real time/energy saver for electric fence use! I loved it so much I purchased a second for my second fence charger!

Got this smart plug to help control my outdoor holiday lights. Took a few moments to connect to wi-fi, but then worked great. App made it easy to set a schedule. Never had to go outside to unplug or plug back in after setting up.

Forst of all, It was extremely difficult to get it to activate, and then, after the first activation, it rained and the plug stopped working. Their in door products are great, but this out door plug was aweful.

Connected easy and works along way form wifi source. Surprised me. Good app to control and has ability to schedule time on or turn on manually with a timer to shut down.

Is my second one and is just garbage. Works for 2 months and warranty covers only one month. Amazon remove this product pls. Is just bad
