I was worried it would add grit to my smoothies. I put 3Tbsp in a smoothie that was about 2cups liquid and other solid ingredients. The other ingredients were vegetables I don't really like. I have to say, the cacao elevated the smoothie, made me want to keep drinking it. All I could taste was rich-yet delicate, smooth, delicious chocolate. No bitterness or grit or anything unpleasant. I am beyond pleased with this. I love that it's organic.
