I started taking the Manuka honey because I had terrible, terrible sharp pain in my stomach, excessive burping and bloating, and I felt full when I had hardly eaten, just a few bites of food. I starting taking the honey after the doctor did test on me. The doctor ordered a barium upper GI which came back normal. No ulcers, no acid reflux, no masses, no gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), nothing, zip, nada. Yet, I knew something was terribly wrong as I was very sick to my stomach. Even though the test results showed no abnormality. I requested that a blood test be done for Helicobacter Pylori aka H. Pylori to be done. I had H. Pylori in the past and read a medical doctors book that it can come back. I purchased the Manuka Doctor UMF 24 from my local Health Food Store and in 2 days the pain in my stomach stopped. I was so happy about my natural remedy that I ordered 3 more jars of the Manuka Doctor Honey from Amazon. I continued taking 2 tbsp of honey daily and began to feel like myself again. I had learned about the Manuka Honey from a woman who was on the Dr. Oz show, who also had stomach disorders. That is why I decided to give the Manuka honey a try and I am so glad that I did. The Manuka Doctor is 100% pure honey which comes from New Zealand. It got its name from the Manuka bushes that grow in that country and the bees get on the bush and produce the honey. Thank Jesus for the bees and the Manuka bushes. This honey IS NOT processed, and is a light beige color. Not like the processed clear yellow syrupy stuff called honey in the U.S. supermarkets. Nine days after the blood test, I received the blood test results in the mail that I tested positive again for H. Pylori infection. A very bad strain of bacteria in my stomach. This was what was causing my pain, bloating, belching and feeling of fullness. This was why I was so sick and could not eat solid foods. I was on a liquids and soft food diet and drank only purified water, and I stopped eating all meat except eggs. H. Pylori can really make you very sick. I want to add here, be proactive and take charge of your own health and listen to your body, and research for yourself. I did, and I found the root cause of my trouble before the doctors even knew. In my research, I learned that the Manuka Honey "completely inhibits the growth of H. Pylori bacteria". As I work with my Doctor who believes in the conventional medical treatment, I have decided NOT to use the antibiotics and antacids which can make the problem worst and the H. Pylori resistant to antibiotic treatment, but I will take the Manuka Honey daily for 6 months, 2 tbs daily, and then take another blood test to see if the H. Pylori is eradicated. So.....Lord willing...meaning that if I am still living on the planet.... I will write another review and let everyone know the outcome, whether the Manuka honey killed the bacteria for good or not. But in the meantime be assured that it is very helpful for stomach disorders, and I might add it taste really good too. I never liked the clear yellow processed honey in the United States at all, but now I love the Manuka honey and plan to keep it around. I hope my review helps you. This honey is just right on the sweetness and isn't a heavy sweetness like regular honey.

I love this. I use it as a face mask and it works awesome.

I've been using this on and off for the past month as a mask and also as a blemish fighter and it has LITERALLY WORKED WONDERS. I tried religiously masking for the first week I received the product, but alas, that takes too much time that I don't feel I have so I have been doing it every few days. What I do is wet my face a little, take the honey directly and apply to my skin, rubbing in circles so that the honey has a chance to absorb a little. I leave it on for 20 minutes (maybe taking a little taste of what is around my lips) and then wash off with warm water and a face cloth. My skin is noticeably brighter and smoother. I get comments all the time now on it. This honey works MAGIC on blemishes. When I started using it, I had a somewhat big blemish under my nose and started leaving on a dab of honey on it as I slept through the night (thankfully, I tend to sleep on my back). In the morning it was noticeably reduced. I did it again for one or two more days and it was FULLY GONE with little scarring (I had, unfortunately, scratched at it prior to getting the honey *insert disapproving frowny face*). Now, I use it overnight when I first notice a blemish trying to form and by morning, it is either gone or reduced to almost nothing. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.

Although I have heard about some of the healthful benefits of manuka honey, it seems that I am benefiting from it already, even though I have only been taking a teaspoon of it daily for the past few days. After an intestinal illness a few months ago, my GI system has felt uneasy and out of balance since then - until now. Since nothing else has changed in my diet recently, I'm assuming that this honey is really helping to restore my health.

This honey is incredible. I had a viral eye infection for 3 MONTHS that steroids wouldn't help. Eye tearing constantly. It was annoying and embarrassing to say the least. I decided I would try the Manuka so I ordered it and literally licked the top in the AM when it arrived. By that evening my tearing was reduced, so I tookone tablespoon and went to bed, by morning the tearing was 80%improved. Continued taking 1 tspoon twice a day and by the second day it was GONE. My son had had a stuffy nose for a couple of days, gave him a tablespoon 2 times , stuffy nose gone. I also get cystic acne....well I used to. Also gone. Most recently my father in law got a horrible staph infection in his groin. Had a round of antibiotics with no change. Had a pic line placed yesterday to receive 6 weeks of IV antibiotics but the honey i bought for him arrived and he took 3 tablespoons throughout the day and decided to place it directly on the infection topically last night. Called this morning and said the cellulitis had reduced significantly. My husband is in the medical field and I was also for many years. We are skeptics by nature. Anecdotally, this works. If you have stubborn infections I would not hesitate to use this while under a dictors care. I know this has top billing in my medicine cabinet from now on!

So I was obviously skeptical after reading numerous reviews but when this product came and I opened it ,it settled after delivery,was excellent. Definitely thicker than the wildflower or clover. It's another level honey. And price wasn't outrageous. I know there's higher levels of this type of honey, but for the money this was excellent. Taste was great , consistency was 👍🏻

Ok this stuff is just ......AMAZING. I used it because I heard it may help with ulcers. I have a huge ulcer which made me miserable. I bought two of these and ate a teaspoon each day for two months until it was gone. Now I am not aware of my ulcer ( its been over ten years ) and an added plus the headaches I could never get rid of went away which I am presuming the ulcer was causing at this point. The honey gives me energy, helps with minor inflammation and THIS honey actually tastes good. Store bought honey no matter how organic or natural it is can get a bit disgusting to eat every day but not this honey. This honey is not as sweet. Its sweet but not like our regular honey. I do not suggest putting honey in the refrigerator , it does make it sweeter. This one is firmer not all gooey and dissolved but slightly solid like ( not completely but enough that it makes it less messy to use which is a big plus ). Love this, will continue buy over and over.

It's actually very effective. I used it to apply over stiches and use it for cuts etc. I also love it tastes
