Set of 3 Hongdian Fountain Pen Nibs Gold Trim (Fine, Extra Fine and Bent Nib) for Black Forest 1850, 1851, 1861, M2, M1, 1843, 6013, 517D, 517S, 525, 1843 and 920 Series

I have two Hongdian M2s, one the brass in F and the other matte black in M. The M was too wet and broad for everyday use, so I wanted to buy a replacement nib to try (the black nibs) the EF in it instead. I typically don’t like really fine pens and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but WOW. I absolutely love this nib. I have bigger name brand fountain pens and even fountain pens I’ve spent over $100 on, but the black EF nib is by far my favorite nib to write with. I always come back to it. The line is perfect and it’s a such a smooth writer. There’s just enough feedback, without being too scratchy. I’m tempted to see if it will fit my 1862 because I prefer the full sized body of that pen, but I hate the nib on it lol.

Mistakenly ordered a Hongdian BlackForest pen with a Medium nib which I found to be to bold. Ordered this set and installed a Fine nib and now get the results/look I want. Switch over was easy as parts were very prcisely made and interchanged without any problem at all.

I ordered the silver F, EF, and bent. If I could give a precise rating it would be 3.5 but I can’t so I rounded up. I tried the fine nib from this pack and it turned out to be just as thick as my medium nib so I ended up changing to the EF. I’ve attached a photo of the writing with the F on top and EF on the bottom (brown ink). The EF writes beautifully but does have a bit of feedback which is to be expected with that size. No hardstarts or skipping. It was super super easy to instal. I finally went to put the bent on my new Hongdian 920S and it turns out I was actually sent an oblique broad (OB) and it’s the coolest funnest nib I’ve ever written with. Very smooth, line variation is super obvious. Photo included (purple ink) Super pumped about this mix up.

These 3 replacement nibs are well built and are light weight that fit in the majority of any Hongdian Fountain Pen. They write well with adequate ink flow, and accept standard 3.4 mm Bore cartridges or converter.

I had bought Hongdian fountain pen and loved it so much that I wanted to buy them all! I had bought black but they come in different colors and its just silly to do that (lol). These would be great nibs if they all worked properly. The fine nib won't feed ink. I've flushed it. Once I filled the cartridge thru the nib, it will write until the nib is dry. It won't feed from the cartridge. The other nibs will. The fine nib has a line width the same as the medium. Not good. I purchased this 3 pack for the fine specifically. I really wanted to deal with this directly with Asvine but their customer service takes you to Amazon's automated nightmare....so you don't get anywhere, fast. What the heck Asvine? You have a good product but awful customer support. I'll change this review if Asvine responds. Update: I finally got thru Amazon's labyrinth. Asvine contacted me with hours with a solution. It worked. Customer service is wonderful.

I have 9 pens now- all different sizes and prices from $10 to $75. These nibs (in my Black Forest pens) are the smoothest and best writing -and have become my go to for any kind of drawing. I bought the EF F and Bent nibs- the ink flow is great in all of them. Beautiful , effortless lines. These are by far my fave pens and nibs and the ones I reach for first .The EF nib is especially remarkable. It lays down lines almost as fine as a hair. I’ve been drawing with it all day yesterday- for hours and hours- and never once did it skip or scratch. This morning I uncapped the pen and it instantly gave me a beautiful line. Super impressed and highly recommended.

I only needed one nib but was happy when I saw this deal. I already had a fine and an extra fin nib on my Asvine pens and decided to try the bent nib on my third. It worked great at first. I loved the slight but not too drastic variation in line thickness. I used it off and on over about two weeks and filled about three pages with it when it suddenly stopped writing. I could get it to leave a mark if I used it at an odd angle but I couldn't even draw a line when holding the pen normally. As far as I can tell the bent nib doesn't hold up to regular use. It hasn't been dropped but the tip appears to be bent farther than it was before. I can't tell for sure since I don't have a second. The fine and extra fine nibs work great so if you need a new nib buy one of those by itself and stay away from this three pack unless you just like wasting money.

These were just what I was looking for . The extra fine nib is much finer than the extra fine brass nib my Hongdian M2 came with , making it better for writing in my pocket notebook and getting fine details . They still have good flow and not scratchy . I also think the color makes my pen stand out more . Recommend
