This seems like a sturdy nozzle. (It's heavy compared to the plastic variety I was using.) It has a ton of settings (more than I'd every use) and the selection dial moves very smoothly. I like the trigger being on the inside (so that if I drop it, I'm less likely to get sprayed). I like the catch at the bottom (to keep the spray on) rather than at the top... which I find to be more likely to stay in place. I have a couple of complaints. It came with a clear plastic sticker on the side, for no apparent reason. It's the kind of sticker that was hard to get off and left a gooey residue (see photo) that I had to then remove with Goo Gone. Why? And I don't like the "jet" setting, which is more like a "full" setting on other sprayers (that is, not as focused as I'd expect for "jet").

After going through several cheap, plastic-based nozzles, we decided the Gardenbyrd looked like it had a better overall build quality. Effective, well-built product! Love the durable aluminum body and smooth-moving water-flow switch. Our only complaint is that the "gardenbyrd" logo, shown in the Amazon images, is a cheap, plastic sticker. This obviously doesn't affect the build quality or functionality. however, and we would recommend this to anyone who's tired of wearing out cheap plastic hose nozzles!

Feels great, looks good, works perfectly. The switch on the top makes the water flow gradually go to 1/2 strength as you turn it, a nice feature. The brand name on the side is a decal sticker that doesn't peel off easily yet is coming off at edges.4 months later, I am using it daily because I leave the water turned on at the hose bib, then just grab this and water as needed. I someties leave it laying in the flower bed to do a sort of bubbling effect, works perfectly, I leave it off when done, and with the water still on, after several month use, it hasn't leaked yet.

Used a few times and liked the way it felt & worked. I bought another one right away (have not used the 2nd one). Yesterday I found the base was broken, cleanly 'snapped?' across the bottom where the silver and red part meet. Only staying attached on the edge near the trigger clip.

Impressive during the first year but when this nozzle starts failing its all down hill real quick. Spray patterns fail first, they start spraying sloppy. The button behind the finger trigger starts sticking. The cheap finger trigger becomes very loose. Its not like I left this nozzle outside exposed to sunlight and the ultraviolet light broke down the nozzle parts, I didn't. The nozzle was stored in my shed after each use.

We planted 88 junipers recently and spray them down nightly. Also had to hand water our entire fairly large yard after replanting / reseeding almost the whole thing. Sprinkler company couldn't fix the irrigation system for almost 8 weeks. Suffice it to say, have use all of the several spray nozzles we have and this one is Superb! Nothing even comes close. We have all different styles and in particular a low cost version that looks similar wth a red handle. Buy this sprayer, enjoy & never look back. Thanks for making a truly great product.

I needed a new nozzle and this one is decent. I like the metal, although it can get hot in the middle of summer.Too many settings and a lot are essentially repeats. The Full setting sprays wildly and not like a typical 'full' setting.Best part is you can really crank down the pressure for watering seedlings or delicate plants. No gonna cry if it breaks, but I'm using it successfully for now.

I have had many different hose nozzles for my garden. In fact, I probably have a box full, that sits in my garden shed. I was never completely satisfied with any of them, until this one. I love the choices of sprays it puts out for the different plants I have to water. The small black thing on the top of this nozzle, controls each type of spray this offers. FINALLY! After years of gardening, someone came up with a winner. Thank You!
