Great product

This is so perfect for our family. We can take it anywhere we go. It fits right in my purse. It comes with everything you need to sew. I ran into a lot of problem needing to stitch something up real quick. We have 5 kiddos in the home and we are always needing to fix something! This just makes is so much more convenient. 10/10 great !!

For sewing stuffed animal thread failures , patching up a tear in my shorts , etc for over a decade I used kits you'd find at the Dollar Store but a couple of years ago they stopped selling them in my area so when I used up the last of my last thread I decided to try something inexpensive but not bare bones. This one really fit the bill with 1 exception. The threader(s) this kit came with are worse than suck. Both broke the first time trying to use them . I bought some much better quality ones a few years back for my daughter when she took up sewing and it came with more than she needed so I grabbed one of them . Problem solved. For what I do this kit will most likely outlast me if I don't lose it other than restock threads as they empty out . I can use my wife's sewing machine to refill these spools to boot instead of by hand . The only a few sizes of needles is no biggie to me as I only use the biggest size included in this kit anyway . If you want a sewing kit with goods that are capable of lasting a few years this one is a great value . Everything in it is ok quality, nothing awesome and nothing crappy with the exception of the poor excuse for garbage needle threaders .

Practical little sewing kit. Has everything one would need for minor at home repairs and a very reasonable price. The products included may not be the highest quality, or made for professionals, but this kit isn't meant for that. It's a simple at home kit. I would buy again. Would be a great gift for someone just moving into their own place. You never know when you’ll need this.

Compact and easy to use.

At first the presentation was pretty good. Everything looking in place, all neatly packed in... This review is for the average folk with little or no experience with sewing. With that in mind, let’s begin. Holding straps: they are at first pretty sweet. But once you travel around, things will eventually not stay in place. Which I will get into why that is annoying. Cheap packaging but for the price I can’t complain. Needles: I don’t know too much about needles, how ever, I had a A+ in home ec. I do know have experience in sewing simple things like stuffed fuzzy footballs. This is the part I have the most complaints with. First there were sooooooooo many needles in such a close sizes. I feel that travel, emergency situations, I don’t need this many similar needles. I need maybe 5 or so, given that, the case that it comes in... at first I though wtf is this? Why can’t I open it... well, it’s a dial that opens up compartments. Then I told myself that is so sweet!! So I put the needles back, which was a lot harder then it should be, and turned the dial that it’s furthest away from a hole. Well walking around with it moved the dial and as soon as I opened it inch of small needles went everywhere. Still to this day, I am missing one needle which I think about everyday..... I would stay, better case and fewer needles that equates to.... More threads: I find that with the ridiculous amount of needles there should be more threads. I mean, what’s the point without threads? Case: overall, it looks good and I love that there is a zipper that just holds everything together without the usual plastic case that always breaks-you see at stores. Other junks: I appreciate that there are so many options given that, not everyone share their methods of sewing. Over all I am still upset about the needles that falls out, because the dial is so easy to turn and I have to mindfully carry it. Perhaps it’s case by case, but for me that’s a safety hazard. The way it’s built, it definitely shouts EMERGENCY STITCHING. I believe that it’s one of the better kits out there. 3 stars because of needles.
