It is waterproof but if ur goona use it with ohuhu alcahol markers, it tends to spread the ink around. Its ink is smooth. They give you 3 pens in this amount. So number 8 is a 0.5 mm nib, number 5 is a 0.45 mm nib, so on. You can see the nib size in product description too, I think. **Q: Do these pens bleed through fabric?** A: If you are using the Micron Pigma pens for signing names on fabric they really don't bleed. You need to write quickly and not let the pen rest on the fabric. I prefer the size 8 for signing because they produce a decent weight line that doesn't need to be traced over repeatedly to be able to read the signature. **Q: Do these write well on glossy paper?** A: They write well, but will take time to dry and set. I mostly work on cold press watercolor paper, but have used them on glossy in the past. **Q: are these waterproof if I paint with watercolor over it** A: It dries quickly and does not smudge in water, so it can be used as a waterproof. (watercolor) However, if water comes in contact with water immediately after use, a small amount of black ink smears, so it is recommended to use it after the ink is dry.
