This product worked great for my holiday lighting.

We have purchased other LED strips (primarily indoor only) and this indoor/outdoor strip is MUCH thicker and better made. Presumably to withstand the outdoor weather if you choose to mount them outside. One thing to be aware of though is that there is no adhesive tape already on the back of the strip. The kit does come with rubber/soft plastic mounting brackets and screws, but if you don't want to make holes you will need to purchase your own adhesive tape. Just be aware that because of the durability of this strip it is also quite heavy. Overall, very pleased so far but will update if for some reason the LED's should fail.

The media could not be loaded. These lights are very bright; a 50ft strand when mounted 8 feet from the floor, is enough to brightly illuminate a 15x12 room with a vaulted ceiling. The color temperature is slightly cooler than daylight. They turn on immediately when connected to power and switched on; most LED strips will have a 1-second delay or so. This is because the lights aren't powered by a DC power supply, but plug in directly to the wall and just have a step-down transformer and a rectifier circuit to convert AC to a pulsing DC.This means that the lights flicker at 60Hz (or whatever frequency your electricity runs at).This isn't remotely noticeable if you're just standing still, but you can see it if you wave your hand in front of your face rapidly. It's more noticeable than a florescent bulb, which would flicker at the same frequency, because florescent bulbs don't lose as much brightness when their voltage hits 0.I recorded a video at 1/8 speed on my phone where you can really see it. The video is 30fps because that's just the fastest it can do 1/8 speed. At the 4 second mark I shut off power to the lights and the hallway was illuminated only by an incandescent light down the hall, and the flickering stops.

We were originally quite pleased by this product. Unfortunately, shortly after one year, a six foot section of the strip stopped working. We purchased the item on July 11, 2023. I notified them on July 25, 2024 of the issue. The one year warranty had literally expired two weeks before. After several emails, I received this. brief response."Hi，I just confirmed with the seller ,your order was last year ,which more than one year, and out of warranty. And this color is out of stock now."The lighting strip is available except that now it is multicolor instead of only white. I understand that it was technically out of warranty, but a good company would have honored that warranty given it was only a two week difference. Now I need to replace the entire product, but it will not be from this seller.

These are some of the best LEDs I have bought. Very well constructed. They are just not at all the color I was looking for. The "Warm White" Looks NOTHING like the photo. And they are VERY bright so if you are looking to light an area...Buy these...If you are looking for ambient lighting....just NO!Disappointed.
