Probiotics study at labdoor independent research firm rates align at #25/30 and rank D and found far less viable bacteria than claimed? any advice?

Maverick, I am no not a doctor but I followed my doctors advice, "take this with milk for one week.  After that start drinking water instead AND begin using fiber supplement.  Since you ask and I have no gentler way of saying this, after day two my body began emptying foreign looking and smelling matter -- had I not known any better I would have thought a company was cleaning out a local sewage or backed up home sewage ---  it was disgusting and exciting at the same time.  I was campy and "cleaning" out about 4 times a day for a week, then when I switched to water and Metamucil Fiber supplement "AS DIRECTED", all the nastiness was now being cleansed out alongside the colon walls, or so it seemed.  Now there is no slimy bowel.   I Use to use Digestive Advantage, and it worked a little while too.  But IT NEVER CLEANED ME LIKE ALIGN.I have lost bloat.  I have lost inches in the waist. I have lost a major sugar craving. I have lost the need to avoid eating out for fear of the unknown reactionof my digestive system. --- but, just in case, I will always travel with my Poo-pouri (awesome product by the way). Both products are a little pricey, but,both are worthy of the outcome.I hope this helps and is not too graphic -- but, the nature of the topic limits my response to layman's experience and reactions.I hope this response helps. How many millions or billions of live cultures does this product contain? There are no mentions of it in the description or details.

The package says that it contains one billion live bacteria when manufactured, and provides an effective level of bacteria, 10 million, which they refer to as 1 times 10 to the seventh power, until the best by date, which is about a year and a half away. These numbers are as close to meaningless as can be, in that this is a proprietary supplement, with nothing to compare to it. Try it; if it works, use it. If it doesn't, don't. This is the most recommended probiotic, but that might just mean they give the most (money, free samples, who knows?) to doctors who do the recommending. Had I read Jeanine's response, I wouldn't have posted.

Question 3

what is the size of the capsules?  Easy to swallow?

good question as  I often have a lot of problem swallowing... this is very small... I just measured one with my sewing gauge... It is  1/4 inch wide and  5/8 inch long...oval capsule... very easy to swallow... and take it from someone who has a hard time usually swallowing.. I highly recommend this product.. My  GI doctor recommended it to me a few years ago...

This looks like a capsule, is it?  I recently picked up a box and it was just tablets, not coated. It would be easier to take in capsule form.
