These have honestly been one of the only consistently reliable ways to get my Dobermans to take medication when they are prescribed anything for allergies or other health issues. Dobermans are smart, stubborn, and extremely quick to detect pills hidden in food, but these actually work without turning medication time into a battle. The texture is soft enough to fully mold around tablets or capsules, and the scent seems strong enough that they focus on the treat itself instead of immediately detecting medication hidden inside. It has saved a tremendous amount of stress compared to trying to disguise pills in regular food or treats. The bag arrived fresh, sealed properly, and the pill pockets were still soft and easy to work with upon opening. The quantity for the price also feels reasonable considering how much frustration they eliminate when medication routines are involved. For larger dogs especially, these are incredibly useful to keep on hand because they make daily medications much easier, faster, and less stressful for both the dog and owner. Leider ist unser Golden Retriever allergisch und muss täglich 2x2 Tabletten einnehmen. Da die Tabletten im Napf liegen bleiben, kann ich sie nicht mit den Mahlzeiten verabreichen. Diese Pill Pockets kenne ich aus den USA. In Deutschland bekommt man leider keine gleichwertige, kostengünstige Variante. Sie sind auch so lecker für den Hund, dass er die Tabletten darin eingewickelt immer anstandslos und sogar mit Freude schluckt.
