22071 Water Pump and Thermostat RTV Silicone Gasket, 0.5 oz.

Left a drop on paper to see how long it takes to vulcanize at room temperature. It has been 18 hrs and this stuff (whatever it is) is still greasy and sticks to fingers ! This is not not I wanted. Very bad product. I need the seller intervention to verify what he has given me is genuine from USA OR a rejected item.

The Silicon sealant works good, so far there's no coolant leaks from the water pump. I had to add coolant after replacing the water pump to move my car and park it. Then I left the car to sit for 24 hours so the sealant can cure. Good value and good quality worth the money.

バイクのウォーターポンプのカバー合わせ面に使用しました。しっかり清掃してOリングも新しくしましたが、古いバイクのカバーと新しいウォーターポンプの合わせ面なので不安なのでコレを使用しました。漏れなく使用出来ています。

With two kids and one old SUV, I grabbed this for a small coolant leak around the water pump and thermostat housing. The tube is tiny but it goes a long way. I cleaned the surfaces, laid a thin bead, waited a bit, then bolted everything back together. No more drip on the driveway. that alone made me pretty glad i bought it. Engine’s been running cool on a couple of weekend grocery runs and a longer soccer practice run across town. It’s nice having this in the garage now for little fixes instead of paying a shop right away.

Sealed like a boss! So handy to use and great consistency for spreading. Held the new gasket when I was putting it on so I didn’t have to put bolts through and risk losing one in the engine bay. Good value!
