Best knives U have ever had and razor sharp

Ver nice product !Was a Christmas gift and recipient was very pleased !

I have had this set for six months. This set was bought for my wife after a well known brand that we had would not keep an edge any more. Comparing prices I gave these a shot. I find that these knives are very sharp and still holding up well. Wood looks good and blade has held up to daily use as well. Good assortment of knives. I have hand washed and dried immediately. So far, so good.

We just got done renovating our kitchen and wanted a nice set of knives that wouldn't break the bank after some research I stumbled across this set and pulled the trigger out of the box they felt great in my hand and over all was pleased with the quality. They are sharp and cut like butter the only issue I've noticed is the handles are starting to dry out from the dishwasher they do appear to be real wood so I ordered some mineral oil to make sure they stay hydrated I will update the review on if that seems to do the trick for the handles! Over all great value for the money.

So many different Knifes for different uses. We cook so many different things my husband especially lives the big one for his steaks. They are really sharp and sturdy. The look is beautiful on the counter.

The knives are as beautiful as the photo. The wooden handles make them stand out. They're so sharp, my partner cut himself while removing them from the plastic. They cut through steak like butter. Before buying them,, I read a few posts about rust. I ALMOST didn't buy them because of those comments. I'm glad those comments didn't stop me. Since they have wooden handles, I hand wash & dry them before putting them in the block. I haven't noticed any issue with rust. At this point, I'm choosing to believe those commenters, are caring for their knives appropriately. More than likely, cleaning them in the dishwasher & placing them in the block wet/damp. I was looking for a knife set for a long time. The beauty, sharpness, quality & quantity of this set couldn't be beat by anything I researched in the store or online. If you buy this set, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Did a lot of digging to find a knife that actually identified what kind of steel it uses. It matters alot. For anyone who is a knife afficionado knows the steel composition is everything. Most cleavers are utter garbage steel and that is why they are so cheap, and the get dull within minutes. This one uses X50CrMoV15 at 58 Rockwell Hardness. That information is buried in the details. What it means to you is it will stay sharp for a much longer time than typical blades, can hold a sharper edge, and still tough enough to not chip when hitting hard bones. We have processed (parted out) over 50 chickens with this knife and its still very sharp. The balance is quite good. I looked at about 40 different cleavers here on Amazon before settling on this one and I am glad I did. Do a quick AI on the steel of your potential cleaver (if you can even find it) and compare it to X50CRMOV15. If you believe in quality, and things that last, you'll pick this, unless you want to drop about 4-5X the money to get a better one.

Great knifes. Had 2 steak knifes for several years. Good steel The beautiful Packwood handles will eventually split and become unglued after repeat very hot water and dishwasher exposure. Recommend hand washing. I bought 4 more. I also have BigSunny cleaver, and long straight knife, and long curved knife. I get lots of compliments on all the BigSunny knifes.

The knife is heavy but holds well in the hand. It is so well balanced. Easy to cut meat and bones with it. Good quality knife. Love it.
