I am in my late 60s with normal to dry skin and let me tell you, I'm already in love with this L'Oréal Infallible Freshwear powder foundation! A lot of the reviews I've read have come from younger folks with oiler skin who rave about how awesome it is for oily, textured skin. Well, I'm here to tell you that my skin is mature, on the drier side, with dark spots, texture and wrinkles, and this stuff is magic IF you take the time to BUFF IT IN!! Thats the big key here. I just received my package and couldn't wait to try it out, so without prepping my skin like I usually do before applying foundation (although I still had whatever leftover skincare on my face from last night, which basically after 12 hours was gone), took a full, dense, soft powder foundation brush (Elf ultimate blending brush for example) and started working that baby into my skin. OMG the formula was so creamy I just kept blending and blending, and my pores started to disappear, my dark spots began to be less noticeable, and my skin had a smooth, creamy, natural appearance like no other powder foundation I've ever tried (that includes my high end products). Imagine with prepped skin how this could be! The hype is very real with this, I had to check it out for myself because I have dry, older skin, and sometimes powder foundations can make my skin look drier and too matte. Not this stuff, but the key for me was to buff buff buff it into my pores, which produced the creamiest, loveliest, soft matte glow that totally smoothed out my pores, lines, and nicely covered my dark spots. Not only will I continue using this gem, but will recommend it to my other mature friends and family, it is THAT GOOD.

I've reported this more than once, but nothing changes. They are less expensive to buy here, but they are also more likely to crack or break.> Difficult to get a proper color match.> There is no translucent shade because this is a powder + foundation all in one.> Some colors are nearly identical.> I have 6 onhand right now. Most of them I'll never use because the colors are off. There's no rhyme or reason for their color choices. The names they give the colors don't match what you would think they would be. This is a huge turnoff for me. I would purchase many more if I knew what to actually buy.

I was so excited about this peoduct for travel. Well, i tested at home and loved the light coverage. Packed it dor the trip im on and initially saw a crack and didnt pay attention to it. Well, the crack apread and its a mess every time i open to use. It was never dropped so i dont understand. So disappointed.

I love the natural-looking coverage that I get when applying with a kabuki brush. Using the sponge it comes with also works well, but it goes on too thick for my preference. I'd give this more stars, but the makeup breaks into pieces too easily and becomes messy. For this reason, I can't carry it in my purse, which is pretty silly. The point of buying a compact is to carry it with you. I've now bought this several times, and each time it breaks up. One time, it was already broken when I received it.

I have mature, blemish-prone, oily-prone skin. I've never liked liquid foundations --they feel heavy and suffocating to me and they turn orangish by the afternoon. The first time I applied this powder foundation, it immediately settled into my pores and ended up emphasizing them. I applied with a foundation brush and used a stippling action. The next time I used it I applied it with the flat sponge applicator that it came with --much, much better results. It didn't feel heavy on my skin, and held up pretty well all day. The shade was good and stayed true. After the initial use, I figured I had yet another foundation that I wouldn't be able to use so I'm glad I tried a differently applicator. Overall I'm now pleased with the product.

Good powder foundation. Love it!

Product is great, however Amazon is not packaging the compact with care. I have had 2 delivered and both were broken, because they were just thrown in the box, to get thrown around. Not happy with this. Don't bother ordering this from here until they decide to get some common sense and take better care with a fragile item.

This is my new go to!! Has a perfect finish right off the bat. Definitely moisturizer really well before applying as it doesn’t adhere to dry skin well. Lasts me most of the day however on my oily skin it separates by end of day but still best pressed powder I’ve tried yet

The powder was broken and is now mostly unusable.
