Using for years! Excellent Product
I have been using this litter system for many years--I guess since it came out on the market. 2006 or so. Unfortunately, it is harder to find since it is only in specialty pet stores now. And VERY expensive. I buy it here. Good price, product remains available, but like one writer, I am constantly in fear that it will be discontinued.I started with 2 cats. Now I only have one.Comments: 1. Ease of use -But I don't like the scoop. use a pair of tongs or just a bag over my hand to scoop out solids2. Use 2 packs of pellets in my box and it lasts about 2-3 months. I found that my cats liked to dig, and one pack was not enough. Adding the second gave them digging room. found that if I left the poop for a few hours-or even a couple of days, so that it dried out, the pellets did not stick. So I don't loose that many pellets. A few get tracked, but not enough to worry about.I smooth over the pellets when cleaning out the solids so that it is level. This seems to help with any odor problem.3. Odor is reduced significantly over regular box. But I live in a small apartment, have only one box. I never seemed to need 2+ because I had more than one cat. For me that was just too expensive. Now one cat one box--but still 2 packages of litter. I have added a bag of volcanic pellet rocks to the pet area to help remove stray odors--this solved the last of the odor problem (available in camping stores, on amazon, etc. )4. I have looked at overall cost. Tried to get into toilet training my cat--too hard to toilet train me! and that was actually at least as expensive as this system because of the fancy cat food cost. As with other viewers, this is not any more expensive than the others overall. The difficulty is coming up with much larger lump sum outlay every few months. Amazons' 6 pack pellets last me about a year! with one cat I change pads about every 2 weeks. I have used dog pads in the system--my income is getting smaller like so many these days--they do work, but don't have the nice ingredients that the System pads have. I use less of the system in the summer because the cat is outside a lot of the time.5. I completely clean the whole box system when I change pellets. It does have old pee on it. so I wash the whole box with a little bleach and dish soap then let it dry for a couple of hours before putting it back together. This also helps with any underlying or vague odor problem.I am a very happy camper with this system. I wish that I could have toilet trained my cat--much better all around I guess. But so little litter and waste as compared to the other litters. I do not seem to have any of the issues mentioned here that other owners have. My cat(s) took to the box from day 1. Just didn't give them a choice. The extra bag of pellets really helped. I don't have issues with loose stool or large living area or cats that don't get along (even when I had 2 of them). So I can't speak to any of those problems. I can't get down to the floor to clean the box, so it is up at about thigh height, cat jumps up, does his business and leaves a clean area. Very Nice.

I love the pellet system!
This works so much better than standard litter. This review is for the pellets specifically so I'll just talk about the pellets. They're rock-hard, so if you step on them with bare feet, it hurts, so be careful about that. But they dry out the pee very well. My cat will get them caught between her toes and I'll find them scattered around the apartment, but it's still better than having litter tracked everywhere. They're very easy to pick up and just put back in the litterbox when you find them. It takes a LONG time before I start to smell them, as long as I change the pee pads (but that's a separate product with separate challenges). We have two tidy cat boxes so the 6-pack option is great value. Would recommend!

Muy buen sistema
Estos pellets no guardan olores y es muy facil de limpiar. Hay que usarlo con el sistema completo para mejor funcionamiento. Vale la pena comprar el sistema completo

Great Litter; now only if the kitties would do #2 in it
I am rating this litter product 5 stars based on my cats #1 usage only. My cats refuse to go #2 in this litter; so I keep a conventional litter box for them as well as 3 of the Breeze system litter boxes. I read the instructions! Breeze Litter states to slowly introduce their litter by taking away the conventional litter in steps. I did so and one kitty will occasionally go #2 in the Breeze system while the other will not. The main reason for our switching to this system is because of our orange taby's urinary tract problem. This system helps to identify if he is having a "flair up" with blood in his urine by checking the convenient litter pad in the bottom pull out drawer. Traditional litters do not help us identify this issue. Comparing the two litters- the Breeze system is very convenient for clean up and low dust particles flying about when cleaning. Breeze litter system vertually eliminates the smell of cat urine in the basement where we keep the litter. On the rare occasion that one of our cats go #2, the fecal material smell is very faint. I'd say that this purchase was very useful in helping us to detect if our cat has a urinary tract infection; the ease of cleaning and changing the litter is the best way to do this nasty task; the cost of the product is worth the convenience; and lastly...purchasing it through Amazon has saved us $$$. Thank you.

Favourite litter box ever!!
Favourite litter pellets i have ever used! Having the litter box in my bathroom, i was sick of stepping in sand every time i get out of the shower!! Now, i have clean feet all the time! A couple pellets pop out of the box here and there but its so easy to just pick the up and toss them back in, because its like maybe 2-3 a day. I will never go back to any other type of litter ever again!
