The coverage of this paint is exception. Only needed two coats on both pieces of furniture and with no need to sand before hand. Finish is superb and so quick to dry!

This paint is brilliant. I painted a metal wardrobe white. It was originally cream. It gives a shabby chic effect. Very easy to use, and it doesn't smell of chemicals, like other paints. A little goes a long way.

This worked very well covering up brown painted wooden furniture. Applied easily enough and the colour was perfect. It does chip though but I think most paint would.

I purchased this paint because a friend recommended trying a chalk paint in my bathroom. The bathroom is constantly damp and horrible and, no matter what I tried, nothing covered the walls properly,even with a heater on constantly. This paint has covered the walls beautifully. I'm impressed, as I was able to put two coats on in a very short time. The colour is more a rich bluey grey, that I really like.

I purchased this paint to create a modern look on old wooden furniture. Lovely finish. Would highly recommend.

I repainted my nightstands with this paint (white) and they look like a brand new set! I’m very happy with the outcome and it didn’t take long to do which is always great!

I am just going to copy and paste the email I was forced to send to Hemway directly. Tldr; use Colorantic or Country Chic if you want a good quality chalk paint you can actually seal. I am LIVID. "I bought your chalk furniture paint in Amethyst to paint a dresser. Coats went on fine, dried quick-ish (not as quickly as other chalk paints I've used), minimal issues. But here's the problem- when I went to put a clear, water-based topcoat of sealant/varnish on top to protect it, it completely ruined the paint. Bear in mind that this has NEVER happened when I've used any other brand of chalk paint on any of the other furniture items and cabinetry I've painted recently. At first I thought it might be an issue with the new container of varnish I'd used - also different from brands I used previously. so I tried with the varnish brand I usually used to see if it worked better. And no, sir, it did not. Still stripped and ruined the paint, outright taking it off completely in some patches, took on a yellowish tone, created an awful smell of blue cheese. I had to wait for it to dry and repaint it. So beyond the shadow of a doubt, the issue lies with your paint. I have NEVER had this problem with other brands of chalk paint. This is ridiculous. And from the looks of it, this paint clearly isn't strong enough to last without a topcoat. So what do you suggest I do? I'd like to be able to protect this paint job from damage, otherwise I've wasted hours of my time painting the dresser and $50 on paint that won't last and I can't seal. For what it's worth, I waited over 24 hours after painting the first time around before applying varnish."

Love the color, true to image. Great coverage on a dresser that I refurbished.
