Salmon Oil for Dogs - Skin & Coat Chews, Bacon, 90 Ct

These work so well for our dogs. We have 3 dogs (10, 4, and 2). We give them to the dogs once a day every day. It has helped with my 10 year old with mobility and digestive health, and my 4 year old with his yeasty paws. The dogs seem to like them with no issues. I had to go with the chicken though cause the salmon smell is quite strong.

I’ve used these now for years for my dog after she tore her doggie ACL’s (sorry Indont remember what they are called in dogs). So far it appears to be helping her joints and her skin. Win win.

I have two Pomeranians, one that now has a dull, dry, tangly coat, and the other with a thick double coat and dry, itchy, flaky skin. One of them does not like the taste of these so I have to mix in with his food, but the other loves him and he is very picky about anything with fish. They are very soft and seem like good, quality treats! May update after a while if I see any improvement in their skin and coats!

I noticed one of my dog’s nails was splitting and immediately ordered these salmon bites because it had salmon oil and kelp(both provide omega 3) and biotin, which is great for hair and nails. My dog really doesn’t like fish, she will not put anything fishy in her mouth. If you think the bacon flavored bites will mask the salmon oil and kelp, IT WILL NOT. It’s extremely pungent and even though I myself love everything that swims in the ocean, I wouldn’t put anything this fishy in my mouth. Regardless my family’s dogs will devour them, which is great otherwise I’d have just blown $27. Nothing is wrong with the product, I’m sure it does what it’s supposed to, but the smell is extremely overwhelming. Again, if your furry friend does not like fish, they will definitely not enjoy this product.

My cat who is not picky at all, will not eat these. Save your money. Don’t buy them. You cannot return them. Update: Right after I posted my review, the company contacted me and refunded my money. So, a big thank you to the seller for that. I didn’t want to waste them, so I gave it another try. I cut one in half, (so, half a serving. My cat is a large 12 lb tabby) squished it with a fork, added a few drops of warm water, squished it some more, then mixed it in his wet food. It seems to be doing the trick. His dry skin is a lot better.

Our English Bulldog has always shed. Every time we pet him we get a handful of his hair and its on our clothes when he lays next to us. He just went through a bout of losing some hair and we were trying different things to no avail. Well we went searching for anything that would work and knew that salmon was supposed to help. He is already eating salmon dog food. Well let me tell you, Zesty Paws Fish Oil Salmon Bites is a MIRACLE! His shedding has been drastically reduced and his hair has grown back and looks wonderful. I highly recommend this product and will probably order the product that goes into his food as well.
