This plate warmer is quick to warm the plates and worked great for our Thanksgiving dinner. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants their dinner served on a warm plate.

Easy to set up and use, plates were hot to touch so a napkin needed to keep hold of while doing a self serve meal.

Fantastic plate warmer so hot food stays warm on your plate . My parents use it everyday has a nice cover to slip the plates in so plates are not touching each other and every plate gets warm

Works well for large plates, blue color is as pictured, cord is a good length, heats the plates well but it takes about 1/2 an hour .

My husband is a fanatic about warm plates. After 40 years, I got this for him at Christmas. He was very happy. Stores easily, too.

A compact electric plate warmer that works very well. Truly plug and play, put your plates in and plug it in.. You will need potholders to remove the hot plates. I would buy this again.

Warms perfectly to a warm temperature.

I got these to go with ones I've had for 2 decades that didn't hold enough plates. The old ones (completely different brand etc) keep the plates a nice temp. These new ones heated the plates up so much they actually burnt people's hands. I thought maybe we left it on too long, so only did it for 5-10 minutes the next time. Burning hot again. Would return if I could but I used them at thanksgiving and tried again Christmas so probably missed the window.

My sister has this electric plate warmer, and after seeing it in use at her place, I liked it so much that I ordered one for myself just before Christmas. I ended up using it several times over the holidays, and it was absolutely fabulous. It heats up quickly and can hold up to 10 plates at once, which is perfect when hosting family meals. I also really like that it doesn’t take up much counter space. Using this plate warmer frees up the oven for cooking and keeping food warm, and serving meals on hot plates really helps the food stay warm longer. It made a noticeable difference when serving holiday dinners, and everything felt a bit more special and well organized. I highly recommend this plate warmer to anyone who entertains or enjoys serving meals properly hot.

This item is sold with a US Type A plug rather than standard UK 3 pin. Useless for the UK market - should not be marketed to non-US customers via Amazon.

Kitchen cupboards & chilled dinner plates in winter. Seems to be a chronic problem living in Canada. If the cupboards were on a inside wall there wouldn’t be an issue but I didn’t design the layout of the kitchen & pulling down the cupboards to add more insulation behind them just isn’t worth the effort & cost. I had for years run hot water in the sink & let the plates soak but that became annoying especially when the kitchen was super busy. So… enter the plate warmer. Easy to use & works in just 5 minutes. Hot food is served HOT, not lukewarm. Why go to all the trouble preparing great meals & ruining them with ice cold plates when there is an easy solution. A plate warmer !!

Ya works well... plates are pretty hot to handle when they first come out but they cool off pretty quickly. I use them when I am cooking food items that might cool off quickly when I am preparing a larger dinner. Things like sauteed mushrooms or onions stay warm longer.

We bought this item recently after reading positive reviews on Amazon.ca. How nice would it be to eat from heated plates, especially steak, but also a number of hot meals. Used it once so far and were relatively satisfied: it heated our plates to lukewarm, and we still have to figure out the best way to place the plates and the time required to have them reach a bit higher temperature. It seems well designed amd properly manufactured. There seems to be no risk to burn one's hands. I should edit this review after some more usage of the item.
