Product Description Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with the Eastman Flexible Toilet Connector. Our toilet connectors are constructed with strong and sturdy braided stainless steel, are designed to prevent kinking and crimping, and are equipped with a 1/2 Inch FIP inlet connection and 7/8 inch ballcock nuts to prevent leaks. These toilet fill hoses feature a working temperature of 40 degrees F to 150 degrees F, and a maximum temperature of 180 degrees F. The toilet pipe connector is a universal fit, standard in water supply lines, and is easy to install in tight spaces. From the Manufacturer Eastman's 7/8" Ballcock Nut x 1/2" FIP x 12" Water Supply Line is the standard in water supply lines. Its quality is determined by what you can't see. The supply line features a non-toxic pvc core, a multi-filament braided nylon reinforcement, a clear vinyl outer shell, and a grade 304 stainless steel braided exterior that is designed to prevent kinking and crimping. This flexible supply line resists corrosion and is easy to install.

Review: expensive and worth it. - It's a couple or three dollars more than at the home store but a quick look shows why. First the stainless connector knob. While nylon is tough and strong it doesn't seem to last more than one or two connections. Then again that might be the rubber washer design. The nylon one in my old unit was flat and only compressed on the pipe edge. The washer in this one goes both inside and out. It sealed up with minimal pressure. Hand tight was just fine. Perfect seal. Also this seems to be a bit more flexible making aligning the connectors easier. Using a new flex connector and the Toto fill valve, I was able to exchange the unit in less than 15 minutes and that included bailing out the tank with a towel. All in all, I am very happy using a better quality valve and connector pipe than the ones available at the home.
