It is a two component putty for application on surfaces that are subject to vibrations and frequent temperature changes. The Metal Filler has excellent thermal conductivity due to Aluminium particles within the product and its gripping ability to Steel, Aluminium, and zinc. Metal Filler can also be used as a general purpose filler on concrete, brick, and wood. As the filler is corrosion-resistant it makes a perfect exterior filler on areas requiring a smooth paint finish. Step 1 Ensure surface to be filled is free from grease and loose dirt. Brush off surface dust with damp cloth and leave to dry. Step 2 Mix the filler with hardener in the ratio supplied, (e.g. half tin of filler - half a tube of hardener) thoroughly to obtain a uniform colour. Step 3 Apply mixture immediately with firm pressure using spreader and build up to required level. Paste will start to harden within 5 minutes. Note: Hardening times will vary. The consistency was just right, making the application process straightforward and stress-free. Once set, it sanded down cleanly and blended perfectly. Thanks** A: Provided the holes not too big remove the rust and fill. It's easy to sand flat to a smooth finish. It's a high-quality product that makes DIY repairs look professional. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good filler, mixing is difficult *by R***M on 19 October 2025* This is a great product, does exactly what it says on the tin, fills, sands to a smooth finish and easy to use and mix, except, the instructions suggest mixing half the of hardener, which comes in a small squeezing tube with half the filler in the tin, problem is there is no way to measure with any accuracy half of either. So having prepared the surfaces to be filled I duly measured out what I considered half and half in a separate container and started filling, I worked quickly, however within five minutes it had set hard making the still to be used filler unusable. Being more careful with the other half mixing smaller quantities I managed to finish the work.
