We were looking for something a bit different for our son’s bedroom. He is at that "in-between" stage—not quite a teenager yet, but wanting a room that feels a bit older and cooler. These skateboard decks were absolutely perfect for what we had in mind! ​We used them to make DIY floating shelves to display his Lego models. They look absolutely fantastic on the wall! It’s such a unique, creative alternative to standard, boring shelving units and has become a really cool feature in his room. ​The quality of the 7-ply maple wood is excellent—sturdy, smooth, and very easy to work with for a project like this. Highly recommend if you are looking to do a similar creative room upgrade!

Sanded the thin layer of varnish off, primed and then proceeded with artwork. Will be ordering more! Unfortunately the last one I ordered was damaged on receipt somehow.

This is the second time I've bought one of these now and they're great for artwork. They arrived really quickly and are really easy to paint.

Perfect for what I needed it for! I bought one to create some custom art on and to hang in my office. All it needed was a light sand and it was good to go.

They are great skateboards. I used them as shelves!!

Don't think this is good for skating, but for painting it's perfect, especially for beginners. Just make sure to sand it down before you paint or else you won't have a good time. Came a little early too!

I bought this to paint, it comes ready to use which means I have to sand off the varnish before I can paint a design on it apart from that it's grand.
