Brilliant way to refresh cupboards or furniture.
The birch custom built 1952 kitchen cupboards are an orange that gets worse with age. This product has given them new life. The ease of application is what attracted me. Stripping then sanding then staining, oh no. I scrubbed and/or gave a slight sanding before application. They now look fresh and clean and are ready for the next 70+ years.

Retique It wood Stain
Love it. Looks gray when it goes on, but turns to the color that you bought. Very easy to apply. Color is great.

So worth it !
Great stain, we used the liquid wood in light wood and then this stain over it, we bought the wood grain tool but preferred the brush strokes from a paint brush. Still looked amazing once complete. You can't even tell they are painted and it looks like real wood. Have not sealed yet.

Obsessed.
I tried whitewashing, but it was too white. Go figure. This is the perfect solution for lightening dark or orange tone wood or mdf.

LOOKS EXPENSIVE!!!
Applied after using their wood paint. Exceptional! I used the wood grain tool after reading and following all directions. It is time consuming, but the results speak for themselves! It looks expensive and it’s held up well! The only downside I’ve found is that it comes busted due to its cheap packaging (not Amazon’s fault). I still used it, and I love the way it turned out!!

No other product like it.
For restoring cane to a natural finish, there is nothing like adding real wood fiber paint. Very workable paint that adheres well as long as the surface is wiped with liquid sandpaper. Color is buildable. Texture is irreplaceable. One jar goes a long way. Can be thinned with water for different consistencies. Protective topcoat always recommended.

Really wanted to like
I was excited to give this product a try. Pros- easy to clean brush Cons- everything else. The primer and stain were both woefully disappointing. Extremely streaky stain that did not absorb well. I’m tempted to try on a cabinet to see if this product works better on an ultra smooth surface, I also don’t want to ruin a cabinet when it fails to work out. At $5 this might be worth the time to do 100 steps to get a good finish. At nearly $100 for a small stain and primer “can” it’s a waste of money.

Easy update
Used this to glaze over my outdated orange vanity and it turned out really good!
