Sunny Fashion Girls' Dress Short Sleeve Butterfly Dot School

I ordered a size larger than suggested, and it fits fine with room to spare, but kids grow fast ;) We haven't washed it yet, but since it's a very lightweight, 100% cotton I'll wash in cold-water on delicate cycle and low-heat or hang dry. My daughters love the fancy ribbon, bright colors, etc. Quality as good as Walmart, but cost less and arrived 8 days ahead of schedule.June 2014: Just wanted to give you an update. I've washed this dress (and the others like it; I purchased a bunch) several times now (at least a dozen or more) in my front-load washer. Washed in cold water on regular wash cycle and dried in the dryer on low & medium heat. We also have a water filter & softener. All the dresses have held up well, no repairs needed yet. I do have to use an iron on the ribbons and ties, but if I take it out of the dryer immediately I can usually get away without ironing the dress itself (not that the kids care, LOL). I've not seen any color fading or bleeding so I'm happy. Both my girls LOVE these dresses and will wear them dirty if I let them, LOL. I'm really glad I made this purchase. These are great for summer or warm days. My girls both wear a long-sleeve shirt under the dress on cold days. That's how much they like them!

These dresses are so very beautiful. My girls love the butterflies and bright colors. They are very light weight, which is perfect for our climate with temperatures in the 90's and 100's much of the year. Based on other reviews saying they ran small, I bought a 4/5 for a 3 year old and a 9/10 for a tall 7 year old. Both of my girls are quite thin so I probably could have gotten away with ordering a size smaller and the bodice would have fit better. However, they are still fine the way they are and the girls will be able to wear them for more than one year. I sew many of my daughters dresses and I find the quality quite acceptable for the very low price I paid. One small side note: the dots and butterfly bodies on the dress are dark brown; they looked black on my monitor. I like the brown, I just thought someone might find it helpful to know the actual color.

After reading several reviews on the dress maker I ordered the 9/10 for my 6 year old who normally wears a 6x in American made cloths. Glad I did, the dress has enough room for her to get this summer and next summer out of it. The dress has ties on the sides to pull it tighter to make it fit. Also, the length is a bit past her knees - I guess tea length would be a better description. I love the colors and details, however I also bought a pair of long cotton bloomers for her to wear under the dress because the material is very thin. I thought a half slip would ride up, hence getting the bloomers. All in all I really do like the dress and I'm thrilled I got her the larger size.

Great for the price. I have 3 girls and wanted a low priced dress that had all of their sizes. This was perfect. I bought a size larger for each girl because some of the reviews said that they ran small. The dresses fit as expected and are a little large, but they can grow into them and I can tighten it with the bow in the back in the meantime. The fabric is a little thin, but not see through. I have washed ours twice already and they are holding up fine.

First of all, the dress is every bit as pretty as the picture. It's a nice light cotton material and should stand up well to multiple washings. The size 7/8 was perfect for our 5 year old. She should wear it for at least a year. The size 2 however was way too long for the 1-1/2 year old, even though she regularly wears size 2. Since the girls live in a warm climate, hopefully they'll be able to wear sister dresses in 6 months or so.

I bought the size 9-10 years for my 9 year old daughter and it was a little small for her and a little short. Contrary to what people posted, I was not impressed anyhow by this dress. It is not particularly pretty and the fabric is a little too stiff for the type of dress it is. You might want to go one size bigger.

Truly adorable dress. Just as pretty as in the picture. I bought the 2-3 size for my granddaughter, who is wearing size 3 in everything. This would fit her now, and it should still fit her come the spring. It is quite long and more than wide enough. I know it's the wrong time of year to be buying a short-sleeved dress, but I couldn't help myself; it's so cute!

I ordered three different dresses by this Amazon vendor and they are absolutely perfect! The dresses do run just a little on the small side, but my daughter has a smaller build so based on other reviews I ordered the next size up and they are perfect. They are 100% cotton so prepare to take to the cleaners or to iron them when they first come in. I don't like ironing, but I can't wait to get them pressed so she can wear them!

I always buy a larger size as my children are tall and some of the foreign made garments tend to be on the small side. This ensures a good fit and I could always take a hem up if necessary and get a second season's wear from the item. This little dress is well made and of pretty cotton.

The fit was as expected and a really beautiful dress but the quality was very poor. The buttons at the back of the dress fell off as soon as we put the dress on my daughter. Really cheap quality.

Only thin fabric but perfect for hot sunny days, gorgeous bright colours and a good fit! My daughter is a tall, quite solid, (not waif thin) 8yr old, the 9-10 fits perfect! Very happy! Allow plenty of time for delivery tho.
