As other great products from Klein this clamp multimeter works great and made of good quality materials. Comes with a pouch/carry case, accessories and batteries aswell. This multimeter is not very high tech but more than enough for all basic use. Clamp is big and easy to hold. Works perfectly fine and easy to understand for beginners. I already have couple multimeter from different companies and this one work as fine as other two. I must say that there should be one in every house just incase if you need to do some work. Overall perfectly fine product, works really well and made of good quality materials, comes with accessories and available for reasonable price.

This is a great digital clamp meter. It has a 400A 600V 20 ohm maximum range. The voltage and current settings are super easy to select with the click wheel and feels solid when put in place. The unit itself is very solid feeling, and it’s powered by three AAA batteries, which are included. You do need a Philips screwdriver to get into the compartment which I find really annoying but at least the screw is one of those that stays with the unit when removed. The buttons are large and easy to press, the clamp is absolutely solid. It does mention a magnetic holder which would have been handy for me recently but this appears to be an optional extra attachment you have to purchase. The leads are good for CAT II to CAT IV locations for CAT II you can remove the shields. I love that you can put one of the leads into the holder on the side so you don’t have to juggle three different things. I’ve tested the ranges with another unit I have and it seems to give pretty much the same results. The NCV works well and is actually very sensitive. The display is very clear and easy to read and the back light works well. All in all this is a great tool for many tasks, I just wished the magnet attachment came with it.

I like to do my diy things around the house and when its about electricity i want to be sure i can work safe without problems and this Klein tool its great for checking all the cables sockets and open wires . It needs 3 aaa battery and if you don't know nothing about this tools you need to read a little bit about in the manual,but after its amazing how easy you can measure all the cables and sockets.The voltage measurement integrated into the clamps its so helpful.The continuity test its very helpful as well with the leads.It has a lcd screen which is easy to read.I think its great in a house if you like your diy

I was looking for an accurate, robust, and reliable multimeter, for some time now, that wouldn't break the bank. Although Klein Tools products aren't necessarily budget-friendly, what they are are accurate and well built. This multimeter is really sturdy, rather bulky due to the clamps, easy to use, and generally works well and I have no complaints. The CL120 model has almost all of the option you might need for DIY/small company such as AC/DC current and voltage measurement, resistance measurement, continuity tester, non-contact voltage tester. I have tried all of these options and all of these were spot on and matched my cheaper multimeter I had at home, however, I trust the measurement from this CL120 much more. The non-contact voltage tester is really sensitive and it is able to pick up the AC voltage present in the devices, near outlets, and even through walls if thin enough, I was pleasantly surprised. I love the backlight as it is impossible to read LCD displays in low light situations. The clamps work as advertised, however, you do require line splitter, otherwise, the magnetic field of live and neutral wire cancel each other out and you are unable to get the reading. This splitter is an extra £20 to £30 which is unfortunate and basically means that this device main feature which is non-contact amperage measurement is unusable unless you invest further. Overall, I would say this is a great product that works really well, I had no issues with it, however, the fact that you have to invest additional £20 to £30 for line splitter brings me then to conclude that this device is not a good value, especially considering that this is an imported product from Amazon US at the time of writing of this review, which means that it will be subject to import tax and fees which makes this product not as attractive as some locally available products. I would suggest shopping around and reading a few reviews before deciding on purchasing a multimeter that will suit your needs.

I ordered this product as I work in IT, gone for basic model as I need to test continuity. Arrived in sealed plastic casing with all attachments required for immediate use - supplied with 3 x AAA batteries. Great quality clamp meter - robustly made and comes with a nice case with is big enough to fit both clamp and leads. Very easy to use, don't have to be a qualified electrician. Able to function easily even without reading instructions, requires only common sense and functions are clearly displayed in white text on clamp. Nice size LCD screen with is accurate, back light on lamp means readings of visible in the dark. Excellent kit to have available if needed, without having a refresher course to use every time. Overall, this clamp provides accurate readings for testing Voltage, Current and Continuity. Good Value for money. I would recommend this product.

This item is great, it is really precise and it is coming with a nice pouch and accessories. Also the pack contains batteries which surprised me even more. Useful to check voltage in house and for work purposes.

This is amazing, it comes well packaged and includes: easy to read instructions, red and black probes, batteries and the meter which all fit nicely into a very professional carry case. The meter is well thought out with it being great sized to hold in your hand with a good balance and the selection control wheel is perfectly positioned for your thumb to change as well as the hold side button. I love the display as its clear to read and if it is a little dark it lights up and makes it even clearer. The loop is easy to spring load open and if you are using probes it makes a handy hanging hoop to read the measurements, which so far have been spot on. This is a very well made and solidly built little multimeter. Super easy to use and read the results. A really useful and practical design. This is by far the best multimeter I've tested yet.

So far, this is a quality made durable tool. I'm not an electrician, but I am capable of household and automotive electrical repairs. This tool is reasonablely easy to use and I like that it holds one of the probes in a clamp on its side. I cannot report it's accuracy, but I am confident that it's function is as well made as it's exterior. Even the case appears to be well made. It's kind of big because of the clamp, but it fits in my tool bag just fine and the price was reasonable for a brand name product. I have another more expensive volt meter, but I like the Klein better because it has a flat screen.. Even with the back light on, the curved screen on the other tester I own I finger difficult to read.
