The Nostalgia Snow Cone Shaved Ice Machine is awesome! The height was smaller than I expected but it looks good and a good height for young kids to walk up and grab a snow cone from the stand. It took me less than 30 minutes to put it together and once assembled, using it, is easy. Just open the top latch, remove the blue thing that shuffles the ice, add ice, close the lid and turn it on. When the ice is being broken down, the machine is very loud so you can wake up a sleeping baby, but when outdoors, it adds to the excitement. One ice load, made about 5 cones. I love the teal and white color because it matches my outdoor rockers, pillows, and cushions and it just looks so pretty and different. I was able to lift the machine and carry it from the house, to the outdoors without too much effect but you can always use the wheels to make the job easier if you don't have stairs. When it comes to cleaning, I let all the ice melt in the top section and use a clean kitchen towel to wipe the inside clean. During my recent party, the kids and the adults, all loved eating the shaved ice from this machine. I purchased the paper cones in the butterfly print from Amazon as well as the Nostalgia syrups.

I ordered this for a children's event and was very excited when it arrived. Unfortunately, I tried putting it together but got stuck on step 3 for almost 45 minutes! Right when I thought I was just useless, I realized the piece had been welded backwards and it wasn't my ineptitude...but a mistake with the provided pieces. Even though I purchased through amazon, I decided to reach out to the company. The young lady that answered the phone went above and beyond to try to help solve the problem (unfortunately they did not have the part). However, she assisted with getting me in touch with Amazon so that I could exchange the machine for another one. The new one arrived and worked like a dream! It is able to shave the ice quickly. It only took a few minutes to have the machine almost a third of the way full! Clean up was very simple and the storage bin is nice!

We bought one of these at first thinking it would just be a “cute little party machine.” Fast forward… now we own FOUR of them because they work so well for our business. That alone should say enough! These machines are honestly the MVPs of summer parties. They shave ice quickly, the ice comes out fluffy (not chunky like sad gas station ice), and customers constantly compliment how fun and nostalgic they look. The wheels make them easy to move around during events, and they fit perfectly into our party rental setup. Are they commercial-grade monsters? No. But for parties, events, and small business use, they’ve held up surprisingly well for us. If you treat them right and clean them after use, they keep going strong. We’ve used ours for birthday parties, family events, and busy weekends, and they’ve definitely paid for themselves. Also… there’s something funny about rolling up with FOUR matching snow cone carts like we’re running an ice empire. The kids love them, the adults suddenly become “snow cone critics,” and somehow everyone always wants blue raspberry first. Overall, we absolutely love these machines and would buy them again without hesitation. Great value, fun design, and perfect for parties or small businesses wanting to add something extra. 🍧

I loved how cute this machine was and we were able to slide it for one party. We made about 20 snow cones with it then. After that, it started making a weird sound, and would stop shaving ice. I thought maybe the blade had already dulled so I was able to change it with the replacement blade provided. I followed all the instructions carefully and it still made the same sound. My guess is the motor malfunctioned somehow. So if you feel it’s worth the price for one party, I’d buy it! But after that, just know it might malfunction. We were having a party where I promised snow cones to the kids when it just would not work anymore, so I threw all the ice in my Ninja blender and it chopped it up just as well and everyone was happy! I would never buy one of these again.

Perfect size not bulky and can fit in a small space, light weight easy to move. I’ve capacity is perfect for us as a family of 4 and when family visit. Noise level is about a 6 from a scale of 1-10 with 20 being the loudest. Ice production speed is fast I give it a 9. Our Family loves it!!!

Bought this for the church annex and on Wednesday night when we have all of our teens come for their Bible lesson, I made them snow cones and a few adults were anxious for one as well. They were a big hit and the machine kept up with all my many orders. Only one thing I could see as a way of improvement. There isn't a ledge by the door, so ice tends to want to just empty out on the floor because I have it so full of ice. I know I could just crush as I go but to keep up with 35+ people who are basically wanting their snow cone at the same time, it was better to crush a bag of ice and then start on the next one when that was dwindling down. I may try to figure out something to put there to keep it from sliding out when I open the door. Great ice and Lots of Fun. I wouldn't let that minor thing keep you from buying it.

You will be the coolest grandma EVER with this machine... it does everything it says it does, and more! The ice shredding is so fast, that 4 grandkids couldn't keep up! I did order additional syrup flavors, straw, cups - because the kids intend to give FREE snow cones to my neighbors! I have to admit, that I did lay plastic wrap down on the bottom, and stick a bowl in the machine so that I could use it for myself to just have a small snow cone at night! HA! That way, I don't have to worry about any cleanup... just dump the small amount of drainage water from the bowl in the morning! I especially love that it can be disconnected from the cart to sit on tabletop or picnic table, so I can give it to others to use very easily!

This product was only used once. It was setup and used as per instructions, but very quickly produced a black smoke and upon inspection found metal shavings through the ice. We attempted to return the item, but was expensive and cost more than the original product, hence we never returned it to obtain a refund.

We got it for our parties and friends gathering and was able to return it to the box. The packaging is really smart and cool. Everything in one small box the metal slightly weak, but it’s completely fine. It does the job and it comes with the blades and all the accessories. Just make sure to buy the syrup and the cup separately.
