Amazing watch, lots of features. Looks stunning and catches a lot of eyes. Everything works but the compass can be finicky. If you surrounded by lots of electronics with high voltage or inside a lot of thick metal (Navy Ships for example) it throws it off but once you leave those areas it works again. Honestly if you really need to use a compass you won't be anywhere near interfering objects. But its a great watch, keeps time perfectly. I've had it a week and it hasn't even differed by a minute so its accurate

I really wanted this watch because of its unique tide-features however ultimately was very disappointed with the quality of this watch - had to order it twice because of mechanical issues on and returned both. The first watch arrived and upon inspection the clock movement was running however some of the other features of the watch were not working, more specifically the compass feature and the face illumination both failed to function even after reviewing the instruction manual (online) several times. Notably, this watch arrived in the retail box but was missing the paperwork/instructions. Perhaps this was a return/resell? I returned this watch to amazon in exchange for an exact replacement. The replacement watch arrived a few days later and was packaged in the normal retail box and even included the paper instructions. The clock movement for this watch however randomly stopped working yet the non-clock features functioned. This was in direct contrast to the issues with the first watch received where it was the exact opposite (movement worked but features did not). Overall was very disappointed that this watch did not work out and came away from this experience not sure if these were previous product returns that were re-sold to me or if this new breed of Timex watches are just low-quality watches. Do not recommend.

I like the watch. Let me start with that. It looks sharp, and the all the things appear to work. Temp is off a bid, but compass and light work. Keeps good time, which is probably the most important part of a time piece. My only knock is that the strap is quite small for a man's wrist. If you want to replace the band, it's not as straight forward as it looks.

Like this watch a lot! Fit and function are great! I had 3 requirements for a watch. 1) Indiglo. I hate the wimpy little light you get if there is no Indiglo and luminous hands are not always enough. I must have gotten a 2nd gen because the Indiglo on mine is bright and illuminates a large enough area that it works fantastically. Even in the dim light but not full dark that makes it hard for me to see things like that. Having said that, the luminous paint on the watch hands is bright and lasts a long time on this watch! 2) Analog. I feel like a digital watch is something I wore as a kid, and now that I've grown up, it looks silly IMO. 3) The band could not be leather ( Starts to stink after a while) nor could it be metal links ( The wife complains about it getting caught in her hair) and while this is a little softer than I expected, and it feels a little unusual, it is very comfortable. The Compass works well, the Thermometer reads close enough after you have taken it off your wrist for a while, that I can hang it up at night when camping and get a good idea of how hot/cold it is. I have not run to the beach enough to test the accuracy of the Tide indicator, but I imagine that will be close enough as well. The watch looks good, tells time, is visible when I want it to be, is comfortable to have on, and even has a few doo-hickies on it that are cool.

I had been looking for a tide watch for the past few months. I didn't find very many options. Most advertised tide watches only cover 200 beaches around the world which is great for surfers but I'm a sailor on San Francisco Bay and wanted something a little more accurate. My other option was a smart watch but I wasn't sure it would really be practical for me. I found several models from Timex and decided after reading the reviews to buy this one. I've been using the watch for 5 days and love it!! The tide feature is pretty accurate. In 5 days it's probably only off by 15 or 20 minutes according to the estimates by NOAA for the area where my boat is berthed. The temperature is affected by your body temp, but after checking the temps over the past few days it's pretty close to take 10 degrees off for body heat. I haven't used the compass much but it does appear to work fine too. Some reviews complained about the buttons and crown. They are durable, solid and don't appear to cause concern of breaking. The band is silicon and fits very comfortably. I wear my watches a little loose and it feels great. It has some stretch so if you want to tighten it down it would still be flexible and comfortable. So far I'm very happy with the purchase and don't want to take it off. It looks good with casual wear but could be worn with a suit as well. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a well built and solid tide watch.

Right off the bat you need to know you may not get a new (as in never sold or worn) watch. This model from the Timex T2N collection has been out of production for several years and apparently Timex in the Netherlands has a number of the watches available. This was the second watch I bought from Amazon. The first one shipped from the UK proved to have a faulty compass motor. It was returned to the UK (on Amazon’s dime, of course.) The second watch—the one this review covers-- came from Amazon USA and has been a delight to own in spite of it, too, being very lightly used. First, it was missing the plastic guard under the crown which prevents the watch from running and wearing down the battery. Second, the strap shows signs of being used. Lastly, the box was not original to the watch. However, unlike my first purchase, this one came with tags and instructions and aside from the strap showing slight use, looks brand new. It was also $1.50 cheaper and I note Amazon has reduced the price again by half a buck from what I paid for mine. At under $80 this watch is a STEAL! Just look at the prices here for the same watch but with a different colored dial and strap. If this type of watch appeals to you with its many complications--in the watch world, the term “complication” refers to any function that does something other than basic timekeeping—this is one you should consider. While on the large side, it is comfortable to wear. The leather watch strap is well made and very durable but if you want to change it, Aliexpress is the place to go with prices 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the identical item on eBay. NOTE: my intent is not to be a shill for Aliexpress who clearly want to be known as the Amazon of Asia----they are not---but if you are willing to risk $10 for an item that is $30 on eBay, consider them. I also recommend spending $5.00 for Amazon's buyer protection plan which gives you a total of four years coverage. Over the years I've filed several claims with Allstate (who administers Amazon's plan) and have zero complaints. I’m a big fan of all things Timex and this one is one of the nicest ones I own. 5 ***** for sure.

Very thick watch, very thick and stiff watch band. Very small characters on dial. The watch itself is 13mm thick, so a big watch. The leather band is also very thick, 3.75mm, making it very stiff. It makes it somewhat uncomfortable to wear, although I suspect it could get "broken in" eventually. But it also make it very difficult to fasten and unfasten the strap. The writing on the face, especially the tide and temperature markings, as well as the date window, are very small. If you need reading glasses, you won't be able to read them. Mine came with no instructions at all, but I was able to find them on the Timex site. That said, I do like the overall design of the watch, so I'm debating whether to keep or return it.

Ordered the watch and it came in a secure package, without any damage. The product it self is really amazing to have if you are a watch enthusiast. Th watch functions are also very cool, Tide • Temp • Compass. Ready for exploring the outdoors. This is one of my top watches I own this year, highly recommended.
