Bingfu Gooseneck CS Tactical Antenna VHF UHF 136-174mhz 400-520mhz

Using on the BAOFENG UV-5R, with 3100mAH bat. This gooseneck antenna feels like and looks to be monolithic, all one piece. It doesn't unscrew into three pieces like many other abbree gooseneck antenna do. The heavy rugged feeling gives me hope, that it will be "almost" grunt proof, for my Marine buddy. (Former Active duty Army, Cavalry Specialist here) As far as signal reception, I'm able to get the NOAA for my region, Loud & Clear, transmitter/repeater is out of Hesperia, I'm in Muskegon. That's almost 30miles as the Crow flies. Outstanding job manufacturer!

solid, durable, brings in and sends solid signals.

Fot well on my AR152 and my UV-5R but I will say the UV-5R didn't like the weight of the antenna nearly as much as the AR152 did. Range was good, was able to get about 1.5 miles (2.4 Kilometers) in varied terrain without direct line of sight to the other Baofeng. The antenna does have a true goose neck that seems to be working well so far we shall see over time.

This is a very nice antenna! Works perfectly on my tac vest for comms... signal strength is great, range is great, build quality is amazing. Highly recommend getting one for your setup. It fit perfectly running through the molle on my vest.

I had to return this one. had High hopes for it, but it is not tuned to any usable frequencies. At 144.67 MHZ, the SWR was 7.1. It only got worse from there as you increased the Frequency. Not sure what the Mfg. was thinking but it was obviously not Ham radio antennas. So Disappointing!

Helped to improve the reception on my radio in certain areas that were causing trouble. Easy to fit in case and transport, but larger and heavy if wearing on body

Great quality but is only good to 144/430 MHz. If dies not go to 170/520 as advertised. My rubber duck does bettet

I bought this antenna to use with a Baofeng AR152 I bought in the same order. Had been wanting something a bit more powerful than the current radio I had and heard a lot of good things about this radio. I knew that they would give me a standard antenna with it so I wanted to up the game just a bit and get something that could possibly do this as well as be somewhat bendable but not like the slap bracelet style antenna. This antenna works really well as I can pick up the weather channel inside my house wth little to no static as where with my other radio and smaller antenna I have to get closer to a window or go outside to get clear reception. I did some testing with this outside with some airsoft friends and found we can get about 2 miles line of site whereas I can only get a mile with my other radio so the antenna does make a difference. Im sure if you added a signal booster wth this antenna you could get it out even further. Great addition to the radio I have.

This antenna is perfect for my Raddy RF919 SSB Shortwave Radio. I like that it extends the range.

Good antenna range ok not as good as some other antenna I have tryed but quality seems more durable.

Antenne très efficace et flexible

So far seems alright but total lie on its frequency range. Yes it will work on other ranges, but it's ACTUALLY tuned to 144/430MHz. So that's the range you will get the most out of it. Seems to work fine, but I think my friends are getting a bit more range on their other Antennae (This review is for the GooseNeck option)

Like the headline says. Classic p.os.
