The blade top is rounded up a bit. Material: carbon steel (not a stainless steel). Some deviations are possible due to hand work. Some unevenesses (rough processing) on edges are possible due to a hand work. the edges are processed manually. It is not a cast iron item. Some internal edges are difficult to process much smoother due to a restricted access to them. You can see the traces of rough processing of edges on the listing photos if you look closer on them.
